Power Places Tours Inc Reviews

A major ethics scandal involving Gregg Braden and Power Places Tours is going on that involves travellers paying to see him being cheated out of money through deceptive and intimidatory means by Power Places Tours. Two years ago Power Places Tour stole our money after we found serious ethical issues within the company that made travelling with them impossible (association with criminals, not being allowed to talk about our concerns, limitations on speech and their staff phoning us up in a panic trying to bully us into keeping quiet)..

They threatened me with a lawsuit for telling the truth 2 years ago after withholding over $7,000 of our money after we were forced to withdraw after I found they supported criminal behaviour (lent a helping hand to those who commit fraud) as well as lending a hand to black magicians (totally irresponsible for a sacred site tour operator) and behaved so unethically that travelling with them was impossible. They insinuated that we were 'big babies' whilst babbling on about how some people have to learn spiritual lessons (the excuse for ripping people off!) Then they lied about it (gave false testimony) in a BBB investigation - calling us liars and accusing us of blackmail. In the same report I mentioned how they hack websites but they said no proof was given ()see below for evidence)

So this tour company lie and lie often in order to assist in their efforts to defraud people.

Then in my experience I had people warning me not to ever be found because violence 'could be used' against those who speak up. Seriously !?

Then I had many people writing to me saying they got ripped off as well or threatened in some way or intimidated into silence after losing deposit monies.

Since them past employees have confirmed that people do get ripped off and are ripped off often through a fraudulent surcharge - here is some of the testimony:-

I worked for Power Places Tours for a very short time and although the owner made me sign a contract that declared I was an "Independent Contractor," she treated me and everyone else like employees, controlling a great deal of how we did our work, right down to what emails we wrote. Commission for selling a $5000 trip was about $15 dollars. It was ridiculous! She left her key employees frustrated, overworked, angry and in ill health. The turn over was terrible and I finally left in disgust over the way she treated both her contractors and her customers.

Profit was always the bottom line, and the fine print of her tour conditions allowed her to take people's money in very questionable ways. What travel company in there right mind would charge a person for tour package, have you pay in full, and then three months later, after it's too late for a refund, tell a traveler they now owe $500 more dollars due to the "rise in costs." Zilch! I had such high hopes for working there, hoping it would be a rewarding experience in helping others go on a spiritual "journey of a lifetime" but so many were very displeased with the service. To be fair, many were happy too. But the energy was so bad working there, I had to leave in a hurry. Source Google Review by Tammy Smith
