Flight booked on Priceline.com for short trip from Omaha to Denver, required an extra fee of $35 for briefcase size carry on. If I booked the flight directly on Frotier's website, I'd have saved $50 -60 dollars. But their customer service by phone is lousy.
If you book a flight on Priceline, you only get an email later that at the very bottom, says there may be an extra baggage charge for this flight. It doesn't say how much.
There was no information on the Priceline website when I booked the flight and confirmed it with payment. Use the airline websites for booking flights. They give you cheaper fares and the inclusion of baggage at one price.
