I was contacted by this collection agency regarding an old medical bill. I was put on hold three times and switched to three different people ( all of which asked why I was calling). The last man was rude, I ask several times for the date of my visit and he always ignored and talked over me, never answering my question.
As I recall , this collection is for an emergency room visit where the attending physician billed for his services and refused to bill my insurance= Medicare. This bill was in addition to the hospital charges.
