To Whom this may concern: Dear Public: PLEASE be aware of the SCAM internet company called Propertyroom.com ...they sell CHEAP items that are not even real....where is the Truth in Advertising ? They prey on people and send them broken, dirty cheap items(if they won the bid) ,,,items made in china.....old, crappy things........essentially, they have a public license to steal from unsuspecting people....who think that they are getting items worth something.....instead....they receive garbage....... the shipping and handling is marked up atleast, 300%..........this so called company should be investigated by the attorney general for the state of California......that is where their main offices are.....where is the shame ?RUN from this so called Scam company that steals your money...........

Propertyroom advertises that they auction off police inventory (which I guess they have some but never saw any). I bought 30,000.00 of mostly jewelery and paintings during approx a 6 month period. There was a lot of jewlery and it would have taken a long time to wear it all. The many items I did wear were all defective but it takes longer than 10 days to figure this out (which is part their return policy). The clasps on bracelets would come undone and fall off. (lost 2 (two)thousand dollar bracelets). They list the retail price of each item but there is no way that kind of cheap jewelry would have sold for the retail price the had listed.. It was a lie. A lot of the jewelery is made in China...and it's way cheap. The stones fell out of the rings, some were even glued in. This is the biggest ripoff I have ever seen. The 1500.00 dollar retail watches quit working (I paid approx 300.00). I sent several back that I noticed right away, but since you can't wear that much jewely in 10 days, there is no way I would even know I had a problem until it was too late. When I called them and told them that most of the jewelry was defective they wouldn't even listen and they said I had to initiate the return within 10 days or they couldn't do anything. It would be impossible to know this jewelry was defective until it was worn....but after wearing some of it, I realized that all of jewelry is the same and they all are made cheap and they are all defective. I'm not even sure the stones are real as advertised. I did see some complaints on the internet about someone taking one ring to the jewler and they told her it was not a real gem. I still have tons of jewlery that is not even out of the packaging. I am afraid to wear it because it will fall off my wrist or the stones will fall out.

If this wasn't bad enough, they would not ship items together and they charged large aamounts for shipping. The shippping alone cost me about 3,000.00. They refused to ship anything together. They charged as high as 250.00 to ship one item. The shipping on two different paintings I bought were more than the paintings. This is another part of their rip of sceme. I have seen a lot of complaints about these guys on the internet. I think a classaction lawsuit needs to be brought against them. There is no way 10 days is enough to know if something is good or bad especially jewlery. I tried several times to talk to them but they would not listen. I told them I would never buy anything from them again and that I would even be embarrassed to give this jewelry to someone as a gift. Here is a link to the return policy: propertyroom.com/policies/return-policy

Won an auction for a painting. on the site it says that product will be shipped within two days after auction. We never heard a word after the 3rd of january 2015. So we contacted them on the 10th, took two days to respond and this is what we got-

PROPERTRYROOM.COM IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SHIPMENT OR RETURN OF ANY ITEM PURCHASED THROUGH THE WEBSITE FROM ANY MERCHANT. YOUR EXCLUSIVE REMEDY AND SOLE RECOURSE WITH RESPECT TO SUCH ITEMS IS TO FILE A CLAIM WITH SUCH MERCHANT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SET FORTH BY SUCH MERCHANT IN THE SPECIFIC ITEM LISTING DETAIL.

we have not received the paintin we won, yet and this is the 13th of January 2015. I would not recommend anyone to order from them because as they state they do not protect the buyers at all.

I bought two iphones.

Iphone 4S - I found out that it was blacklisted when I took it to AT&T for activation, I was embaressed when they said that it was reported stolen and they looked at my like a thief. PropertyRoom will not refund my money so I called my credit card member services to dispute this charge. They told me that It could take up to two billing cycles to get an answer from Property Room. I'll keep you posted.

Iphone 5C - I turned it on and it gives me a message that says " This phone is currently linked to an Apple ID ( [email protected]). Sign in with the apple ID that was used to set up this iPhone". It means that I won't be able to use this phone unless PropertyRoom provides me with the apple ID required for activation. I sent them and E-mail hoping to get the information requested if not I'm hoping to get a full refund. I'll keep you posteed
