I was called by this company's sales person "Chris" who said I could advertise and get leads for $225.00 for 3 months. I told him that was too much and over my budget. He than said he could give it to me for $90.00. Said nothing about I had to cancel or would be charged $225.00. On Jan 23 I got an email saying I may be put into collecitons. I called the company and ask why. They said I didn't pay the $225.00 I let her "Sue" know I did not want service and why didn't someone tell be before. All in all they are trying to collect the $225.00 since I did not cancel the contract (I didn't know I had) I faxed that day a cancellation, but they are still threatening me saying they are going to send me to collectons and get attorneys involved and I will have to pay the fees. Really for $225??? Oh and I tried logging in when the Sue girl was talking to me and it didn't work.

I told her that and she said because I didn't pay. So they are trying to charge me for something that wasn't not even availble to me. Now they are even changing they dates they are saying I owe for. I'm still emailing back and forth on this. I did look up the address they say they area at 2700 N State RD, which is a storage place.

They called me and was given a $70 promotion in 2012.

At the end of 3 months, I saw a $175 charge on my credit card. (I had forgotten all about this).

Every time I tried calling, I was told they could not process my cancellation by phone or email..had to be faxed or mailed.

Not one time did they tell me there was a 10 day cancellation notice that could not overlap the billing date. Once you do, you need to wait another 90 days for the cancellation to go through.

On Feb 23 2015 I tried faxng my letter....fax doesn't work. So I mailed it.

I receive an email back telling me that the cancellation is effective on May 28 2015. Then I see that I was charged $175 on Feb 28 2015.

I sent an email....no response. Today I call and get a woman on the line, telling me that they need 10 days prior notice. She insisted that it was in my contract. While on the phone with her I looked at the original confirmation email I was originally received when I placed the order and there was no contract except for a yellow 'order confirmation' button. She told me to click on it for the contract. Who knew that's where the contract was? She cited the paragraph number where I was to scroll down a 2 inch window so I could read it. Yes, it was there. BUT who knew? AND in such small print!

She also put me on hold for a few minutes instead of speaking with me so she could answer another call

Honest people don't conduct business that way!!

Do not fall for this crap. They hit you with $90 as a special but then it shoots up to $45 per city/town after that. You must fax or snail mail a stoppage to them otherwise the continue to bill you $225 for 5 towns. I had my identitiy stolen and my bank had to issue me new credit and debit cards. When these pond scum leaches couldn't get their money from me, they sent my account to a collection agency.

This is by far the worst part of being a real estate agent. All of the unwanted bogus companies that prey on you and promise you results that you never see. I get on average 10 calls per week from some internet marketing company that is going to build me some awesome website that is going to have buyers and sellers flocking to me. Whatever you do, don't fall for the bogus hype. Each company says they are better than the last and they are all useless. I've gotten nothing from anything of them and get a ton more leads from my broker's free website.

This company called me in September 2014 to sell advertising at $90 for a quarter (3 month period). So I did try it, paid the $90 and NO PHONE CALLS. So of course I cancelled. The deadline for cancellation was Decamber 10th, 2014, and I called them on December 8th, 2014. She said: no problem I will take care of the cancellation.

Today, Feb 26, 2015 I get an email that I am passed due for $225 for the second quarter. WHAT? I called them again, this time I asked to speak to a manager. According to her, they don't take cancellations over the phone, so it was not cancelled at all. What??? This company sells advertising over the phone but claims now that it cannot be cancelled over the phone? So I asked for an email address. They said they do not take cancellations by email either. Only by postal mail and by fax. Intersting...those are the two methods that cannot be traced.

RealEstateAgent.com will send you NO leads and you can't cancel!

Company in question sucks. Sold me a 90 day trial for $45. They provided no leads as advertised during that time. I did not ask for a refund I simply attempted to cancel and could not. They did not acknowledge fax, did not answer phones and ignored multiple email cancellations. Company now harassing me for funds and even tried to extort another $14.99 for cancellation which I refused based on their lack of cancellation prowess.

Apparently there is a history here. Their real business name is "Business Locate, Inc" at an address that is apparently a Hollywood Florida Self-Storage facility, they enjoy a BBB rating of "F" and there are numerous complaints related to the same type of shady business practices.

Search the web, rip off report, blogs, etc. you'll find many others that have suffered similar experiences with this entity. Let everyone know if you are one of them to help others.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM!!

This company seemed to be able to make things look legit. Set everything up and said in 30 days call to get a login to track your first web hits. Upon that attempt, there is no anser to the phone at any time, or emails sent haven't been responded to either.

The initial payment wasn't too lofty for 3 months, but I am trying to prevent additional payments to be placed on my credit card. I am trying ot be proactive, but nothing is working. I need to report this everywhere I can!
