Record be gone gives false hope and over charges and does not compleate tasks on time or at all. The price that was quoted was not the amount they were asking to compleate the taskes they promised to do for the price to do it. They are dishonest and unprofessional. Very dissatisfied with this company and uses the works "unfortunately not" . I pray to be refunded by thsee thieves. I also pray that this place is shut down so they will stop ripping people off.
I had a very bad experience with Higbee and Associates commonly known as RecordGone. I wanted an arrest record from way back in 1970 expunged. There was no conviction or indictment but it still caused problems from time to time. These clowns could not even find the records needed to prepare the case. They stubbornly insisted that they could not help me at all and no one else could unless a certain court had the necessary legal records which were not found. I quickly lost confidence in this company and demanded a full refund. But they insisted on retaining $200.
I later submitted a request to Dallas Police Department Open Records for an arrest report, an offense report, and a prosecution report using the case number appearing on the FBI and Texas Department of Public Safety reports. The prosecution report had extremely crucial information. After doing some research on the expunction process, I prepared and filed a an expunction petition with no assistance from attorneys and filed it. I WON the case. The DA's office did not even contest the request for expunction.
These clowns were extremely negligent in limiting their search for records to just the courts and just a specific court. This arrest could have been expunged 4 months earlier if these clowns with RecordGone had a reasonable level of competence.
