I agree completely with the other views regarding Registry Travel Vacations- Sears. I spent over $1400 on a cruise package that allowed me to make payments. I paid monthly as a agreed and wanted to wait before making travel arrangements until I had paid off the entire package.
Well, my package is now paid off but the only travel option I have is for the "free 7 night resort stay"they try to entice you in to get you to buy the package. It's basically a scam because it is very hard to find any dates that are available. I didn't pay for the free stay, I paid for a cruise.
Obviously, I was naieve to trust the name of Sears when making such a committment and paying my hard earned money to be ripped off and not have the travel I have paid off. Very disappointed in Sears.
You can take my free 7 night stay and just sell it to the next person you plan to con. I'll write this off as a loss but I felt the need to warn others. I could have went to another travel agency, made payments and actually gotten the cruise I had paid for.
