This program claims to scan and repair your PC. One license was purchased and downloaded but the program didn't repair anything. In fact, it disabled .dll file extensions and corrupted some Windows components. Links to two different customer support pages on their website didn't work, either.
Finally had to call the customer support phone techs, who were obviously located somewhere else in the world and were difficult to understand. They refused to refund payment and insisted they were only authorized to run the program remotely. Even worse, the program kept scanning over and over and transferring to another page that requested additional payment.
Ended up uninstalling it just to get it to stop scanning. The charge has been disputed with my credit card company--probably a lost cause, but the world needs to know about these scammers. Don't get sucked in!
A company called Reiamge Plus said they would clean my computer's registry for approx. $34.00. They were paid. They did not perform the service and insisted on selling me a $200.00 service. Meanwhile, they installed malware on my computer.
I was using the computer and a pop up appeared on the screen saying all what it could do for your computer . So I decided to buy it $49.00 and after I did It had me to call this 1-877-651-2510 number when I did a represenative came on and was telling me to do certain things and once I did that, he took over the computer. I dont know what he did I just seen a arrow on the computer moving Im really beleiving he is fixing my issues and then he sai, You have a lot of issues and viruses on your computer and said for $299 I can fix it . I said well what did I pay my $49.00 for then and he got to telling me nothing that had anything to do with what it said on the video . I told him that I want my money back he gave me a number1-888-844-3886 to call and I have not been able to get in touch with a human after 10 min of waithing the phone hangs up. I called back to the first number and the rep said that they have nothing to do with the payment they just go into the computer. after about 30 min trying to talk to someone I gave up. I shut the computer down and dint go back on it for about a week and when I did I couldnt do anything on the computer no email no fb no nothing a virus issue kept poping up and internet explorer message was not responding message . So I really had to take my conputer in to get it fixed after messing with these folks.Dont Do It !!
Reimageplus.com sounds great but did not work for my computer. Following numerous attempts and delays in processing a refund to allow for another approach, my computer has an error code and I cannot boot, load or bring up anything but the error code. Now they will not respond to the refund request, although promised numerous times via phone conversations and their add promises 60 day no questions asked guaranteed money back. I contacted the CEO and NO RESPONSE. That is the manner in which they deal with customers and they steal your money once your have used only their program, and the computer is incapable of uninstalling. Pathetic way to run a business! Stay away unless you want to lose your money and have probably zero benefit from their joke of a program. I would not feel this way had they kept their word and refunded, instead of bringing up new rules: It is best to ask for refund within 7 days and you must uninstall their program! Liars and Thieves.
