I walked by this kiosk in the mall and this man showed me this small heating pad, which easily heated up by pressing on a button. He didn't mention at all to us that in order to "reset" the heating pad to reuse it, I would have to boil it in a large pot of water for at least 20 minutes with a cloth underneath. I can see why, because it takes a lot of time and effort to do this everytime you want to use the heating pad again.

I'm disappointed that this salesperson failed to tell us how we would have to "reset" the heating pad, and how much effort it takes to reset it.

COMPLETE RIP OFF

Do not purchase this item. I bought 2 in mall kiosk and neither one works. if you boil them for an hour they still would not re-activate. I followed instructions exactly. one pad was able to reactive one time and that was it. So I got 3 uses out of about $60 complete waste of money and consumer thievery. Shocking now the kiosk is gone.

Repeat the heat back warmer

These things are a total ripoff. They suck! Boiling them does not help, because they re-crystallize as soon as they cool. One time use, then you may as well throw them in the garbage.

I found that to be the case too but then boiled it longer and it worked

repeattheheat backwarmer

purchased two repeat the heat back warmer pads at the Asheville Mall, Asheville,NC. Based on the information given by sales person -which was to just run warm water over pad and it would return to its original state, I purchased the pads for my mom and dad who are both in their 70's and who have severe arthritis. They are unable to safely heat pads in boiling water, trying control tongs to safely remove pads and waiting an hour for the pad to boil. Was not told there would be no refunds but the mfg. promises Lifetime warranty guaranteed. Not only are they lying to the customers, they are putting people-especially the elderly - at risk for serious burns from trying to lift bags from the boiling water.! I wonder if the warranty covers law suits for fraud.

This product does not work. If you have to boil the pad for 5 to 10 min before you re use it again, it's not easy to use and you can not use it as they say. Its a complete ripoff.

Do not waste your money. I was taken in by the sales pitch - no energy source needed. I guess it is a 1 time use product. I was hesitant and girl talked me into it with "completely guaranteed". So both my daughter and I bought one. It heats for a bit, not 2 hours, and gets really hard. Not good under your neck. Secondly I boiled it 4 times each time longer until it finally stayed soft. That took over 45 minutes. My daughter doesn't even have a stove so she can't even boil hers. This was not explained at all.

I emailed the company with no response. I tried to return to the mall 60 miles away where I bought it and was treated rudely. No refunds, says so on your receipt. Yes the receipt you get after you paid for it. Box has on it No Energy Source Needed. I asked to speak with the manager. To me a guarantee means they will make it right. Well no. The rude girl kept telling me too bad and leave the counter. I was waiting for her manager to call me back and she told me to stand somewhere else. She was afraid other customers might hear the truth. She said put it in your dishwasher. Well neither my daughter or I have a dishwasher. And she kept calling me a liar. About what I am not sure. That I didn't have a dishwasher?

It is a big rip off. I now have two that I couldn't even give away. $63.00 wasted. No one wants to waste an hour+ of their time standing at the stove before you can use it. The whole set up is a rip off. There isn't even a phone number to call them. The website sends you to different distributors. If its so great, why can't you stand behind it and refund.
