Beware of this Company!

I have repeatedly tried to contact Eddie for a week by phone, email and online return form, requesting return shipping instructions for subject order. I have had no response.I have also researched this company and am aware of many negative reviews and complaints. Need-less-to-say, if I had been aware of those reviews and complaints, I might not have done business with tis company.

I advised how they could remedy this situation: Email the return shipping instructions and confirm in that email that you will promptly credit my AMEX account, through PayPal, the order refund. I will also require an email confirming the receipt of the frames by you. If I did not receive your email containing the above requested information by tomorrow, Tuesday, March 24, 2015 by 5:00 PM (Arizona time) - 8:00 PM (your time), I will have no recourse but to file formal complaints with PayPal, American Express Company and the Better Business Bureau, which I have done.

Further, I will also be forced to post my complaints on every applicable website includingwww.scamorg.com, www.trustpilot.ro, www.instantcheckmate.com, www.ripoffeport.com,www.yelp.com, www.bbb.org, www.resellerratings.com, www.trustlink.org,www.complaintsboard.com, www.companies-reviews.com,www.eyeglassesconsumerreports.com, www.consumeraffairs.com, and plus.google.com/1086681732895598292703/about.

Hopefully, I will receive your email tomorrow by 5:00 PM, which I did not.

I placed an order with them in May of 2014. I ordered lenses for my glasses. NEW GUESS FRAMES THAT I JUST PAID $200 FROM MY OPTOMETRIST OFFICE. I figured i could save money by going to this website to have them framed with my prescription. My order came out to almost $130 with replacementlensexpress. I had to send my frames to a sketchy address and then on top of that no contact from them to say they received frames or not. I had to contact them about two weeks later, several times, and when someone finally answered the phone (as if it was they're personal phone) they said they received them and will take another week or two to reframe and send back.

Well when I got my frames back, the legs were EXTREMELY BENT OUT OF PLACE. It was as if someone literally grabbed both the arms to my glasses and strectched them as far as they could. There's no point with putting them on my face because I have to look directly at the ceiling for them to stay on my face. Mind you these were brand new frames that fit perfectly on my face before I sent them to this place.

Obviously upset, I call, NO ANSWER.. I CALL AGAIN.. NO ANSWER.. NEXT DAY... I call.. no answer.. I call again.. NEXT DAY........ (well you get the point) I finally sent an email to the email on their website regarding returns. It's notated that they will contact you within 24-48 hours, but I waited a week and no response. I then sent out another email and till this day (its February of 2015) I have yet received a return, let alone a response.

thieves!!!

Please do not purchase from this website its a scam. the website looks so professional that you would never think its a scam. Shortly after making my purchase (just frames) i got an order confirmation email, it said that they were gonna email me again with a tracking number and they never did, i emailed them 3 days later asking for the tracking number but never got a response. i called them numerous times but they never take your calls. I called my bank and filed a fraud complaint and Luckily i got my money back although the investigation is still open. Please be aware

GREAT Lenses--But Poor Communication...

I can recommend Replacement Lens Express, despite the many negative reviews out there. THOUGH YOU MUST HAVE PATIENCE WITH THEM!!

I got GREAT Varilux Physio lenses from them, shipped out from the lab that they use, Precision Optical. It took a long time to get my glasses back with the new lenses--almost 4 weeks, and they did forget to make them with Transitions, despite the fact that I upgraded my original order (via their instructions) to add the Transitions (via a separate order). They offered to remake the lenses over with the Transitions, or give me a refund. I opted for the refund.

In trying to communicate with the these folks at Replacement Lens Express, it's hard--they answered the phone once out of the 8 time I tried calling. They did answer emails. but it took a while. Like I said, you need patience when dealing with these folks.

But they can deliver, or at least they did for me, excellent brand name progressive jenses purchased online, that were $200-$300 cheaper than my local OD's offices, and every bit the optical equal.

I placed an order with Replacement Lens Express on February 22. Within a couple of weeks, not receiving the glaases, I began to attempt to contact them. I also looked at the receipt for the first time since the order.

I could not contact them because three phone numbers they use were all unavailable---mailboxes full. I then used their internal ""contact us"" web site format, and requested a status, then demanded a cancellation or my product, then emailed the info@ address, with the same demands.

No response.

I found their facebook page and on two occasions stated I had no glasses, and needed help. After the second post to that effect, I received: ""Let me check on it.""

Within a week I received my glasses. Both the prescription and the tint were completely not as ordered.

Also, during my process of trying to contact them, I discovered that the price they quote during the order process is a bait and switch. As with most bait and switch, there is a quote, and then at the end of the process, the price is raised. At the end of the cart process, the price is DOUBLED.

I discussed this with every other online eyeglass vendor, and a price as quoted is for a PAIR. Not for a single lens.

So, the scam here is that the quality of their product is defective, their business practices are void---since there are dozens of complaints like mine where you cannot reach them by phone or email---and for the defective product you are charged DOUBLE. Deceptively.

Please do not order from this vendor without checking with other similar vendors. They have poor quality, poor business practicces, and classis predatory pricing practices.
