Representative Marlene Anielski Reviews

  • Dec 29, 2014

Like in The Hunger Games, Marlene Anielski goes along with abusive techniques to find 'cases' at the Ohio Medical Board.

In Ohio, unlike most/many other states, the Medical Board is allowed to act on unverified, unproven confidential complaints. The Ohio Medical Board is allowed to take women MD licenses without allowing the woman MD 'care-to-function,' ie what Marlene Anielski would be allowed before having to leave her Representative job for a health problem. Women MDs in Ohio don't need blood work, casts, treatment of thyroid problems; they just need to be 'unknown mental disorders' when they disagree with more powerful incompetent male physicians - the kind that Marlene Anielski protects at Hillcrest Hospital.

Instead of acting on confidential complaints - the Medical Board should allow verification, for the physician to defend himself/herself, and for experts to get the complaints so that witnesses can be brought forward. In Ohio, it is too easy for a jealous physician to derail another physician's career with a confidential complaint, or for a male physician to threaten to not allow the woman MD to practice ever again if the woman MD doesn't 'understand' the male MD.

The Medical Board Members should interview the complainers before acting on complaints to determine conflicts of interest, biases, and why the complaint was necessary - given that most physicians go out of their way to please patients and colleagues, to avoid conflicts and fight. Women MDs put out within reason for every patient, every male colleague.

In most unjust cases, had the Medical Board just interviewed the colleagues to find out what was going on, instead of believing crap by physicians who either didn't know what was going on, or were offered payments to get hospitals/physicians out of liability - the State would be millions richer. One false case - and there is at least one in District 6 - costs the State of Ohio at least $500,000+. That money could be put to much better use in Ohio, in District 6 for sure.

Ordering of >5 forensic evaluations, when no case has been found on 5, has a low probability of being successful - but Representative Anielski doesn't do stats. Ordering >5 evaluations on a caring woman MD, with no patient complaints, when Rep. Anielski could not get help for her son by consulting with even one psychiatrist, is nonsensical and poor stewardship of health resources. Ordering more than 2-3 evaluations, on any patient, is abusive and harmful. Women MDs are many times suicide risks when this outrageous injustice happens and continues. Representative Anielski only cares about her own hurts.

Maybe if the woman MD had been practicing, instead of fighting a corrupt Medical Board, Rep. Anielski could have used the women MD Internist to help her son. Physicians are supposed to use their education. When Medical Boards interfere, many patients get hurt.
