continuous emails with photos of dogs in need

I responded to numorous chihuahuas for adoption from "Rescueme org." and NO reply back I am over-qualified to adopt a pet. I own my own home, am retired, seeking small dog etc and seems that this ORG. is really ONLY about seeking donations under the guise of having pets in need of a home. I give all the needed info to adopt the pet shown in their photo when responding to their email and in over a years hear nothing back from them. Seems they steal a pet when necessary but dont have any up for adoption.

RescueME smacks of a scam? They seek money ONLY !

I had been responding anxiously and hopefully with all required infos and needed details about the dog in the photo of their emails YET never hear back! I own my own home and I'm retired and ready to love asmall dog who needs a home. I prefer Chihuahuas and get ZERO replyback each time It seems they are ONLY about seeking donations! BUT where does the money go since they seem to have no pets except for the occaisional stolen one? These people need to be investigated alright. I finally gave up on them and now see this story. Im NOT surprised.

Scam - don't bother

Being a dog lover who has adopted or rescued numerous strays, this organization is a fraud. Dogs advertised that are not available, inquiries that they don't respond to, vague or false descriptions. I've supported many dog charities and generously donated over a $1000 to this organization. When I tried numerous times to adopt through them it was repeated a nightmare. Their 'non-profit' status should be revoked. It's a semi-criminal organization in my view. Adopt from a local shelter. This organization and it's partners are crooks charging $300

or more for pets. They pretend to be humanitarian, but reality is that it's more humane to euthanize unadoptable animals than cruelly cage them for many years. They charge $300 for an animal they've only kept for short time, and cage others for many years. Is keeping a dog caged for 5-7 years humane? This company is associated with many people who should go to hell for the way they treat many of their animals. They masquerade as animal saviors, but are demonic.

KIM SINGER WHO WORKS FOR DIAMOND CUT LOYALTY ANIMAL RESCUE & PIT BULL REHABILITATION

STOLE MY DOG!!!

Kim Singer came into my neighbor's yard and took my dog. She never asked any questions or talked to anyone. She just let herself in and stole my dog while I was at the hospital with my daughter. I have never met this woman before in my life. I asked my neighbors to watch my dog while I went to the hospital with my daughter and they agreed. When i came back to get her they told me that Ms. Singer a supposed "dog rescue" came and took her the very same day I dropped her off. When I received her phone number to call her I got her answering machine and I left her a message. The next after not hearing from her, I called her again. This time answering, she tells me that my dog was abandoned and that's why she took her and she's already found her a "temporary" home. When I tell her my side of things, she wanted to argue with me and continue making false accusations. Then she decides she wants to ask me personal questions about my dog's vet and if she's fixed or not. I made it clear that I could provide proof of ownership if it would speed up the process of my dog's return home. I expressed to her how distraught my 6 kids and I were over the disappearance of our family dog and Ms. Singer agreed to call me back the same night with some information. Now it's been almost 48 hours since than and Ms. Singer will not answer my repeated attempts to reach her nor has she returned my call that she promised. So, the more time that goes by, I continue to do research on our Ms. Singer. An ex-anchor woman for KPTV channel 12 news. Wow! It's a long drop from tv to nowhere. And when I googled "dog rescue portland oregon kim" (because she refused to tell me her last name) the very first item to pop up was this website with someone else complaining about her stealing their dog as well. So, the address was on there and when I google mapped it and got a street veiw of the location... OMG! I don't know who she thinks she is, but that is no place to house abused, neglected or abandoned dogs. It's a duplex with a backyard I an only imagine she puts all these dogs together. I mean there's probably no way she has a permit, license or autorization to house these dogs here, nor does she have permission to enter people's yards without permission to take someone's dog she feels is abandoned, neglected or abused. I have notified the police and low and behold what she is doing is a felony. It's called "stealing someone's pet". So, we'll see how it all plays out tomorrow when she's going to jail and I'm getting my dog back. Maybe, the media would even be there. :) Not only that but she has a website where she's requesting donations for her cause. I say in my opinion it sounds and looks like a scam.

Wouldn’t trust this site

Many pictures seem VERY old and outdated. I’m glad I did research. I saw several pictures of “already adopted” dogs and testimonies that looks very fake and I have seen those dogs before. I’m pretty sure they get the pictures from the internet. Upon further investigation I noticed they charge DIFFERENT adoption fees on different dogs. How is this possible?? If all dogs need a home why is it $200 for a Rottweiler to get adopted and $600 for a Maltese mix?

Totally Disappointed

I don't even know where to begin.. from unanswered emails/phone calls, to rude, threatening emails. I can't imagine this person taking care of dogs when she is so mean and obnoxious to potential buyers. I should have checked this website before contacting them. What a scam and they continue to ask for money..

I had success placing a dog

I had rescued a dog that had been dumped near our rural property. She was clearly a jack russell/min pin mix, so after her necessary care, spaying and rehab, I listed her under both breeds and received a request from a qualified adopter within days who was interested in a jack russell type. (We still exchange Christmas cards with updates.) Much better solution than CL where I received some inquiries, but after a few questions, I knew I wouldn't adopt out to them anyway. Those who are complaining about not receiving a call back - realize that you are dealing with individuals and/or rescues that should, but often don't, delete their posting when a home is found.

Can't get response but replied for donation with a red flag

I've sent emails or inquiry about a few dogs that I was interested in adopting but rescueme.org never replied or said dog was adopted or pending for adoption and this with all the dogs I inquired.A few days after you get an email asking for a donation to help with all dogs in shelters. It has to be a scam and hope someone sees this and take into account to investigate this web page or institution.

Got to be a scam

Rescue me has a phone number (Ohio)

I called and when she said she had another litter of puppies like last time. (last time?)

I was wondering, “how can you say you are a rescue if your breeding dogs”?!

It seems like all I keep reading is these people are stealing dogs! Lying about having dogs and just want donations or both! Everyone complains about them and the same pictures are still up for the same dogs.

Why isn’t it shut down? If they are getting any money from the government and not really have a rescue then someone needs to go to jail!
