This company is a scam. We noticed that a high amount of data was being used on cell phone and under mobile data usage it stated company name and had used a large amount of data from our plan. I am wondering if someone hacked into phone and was using it. We received a text from our cell phone carrier notifying of the high usage and we would be charged $15 if we went over our min. Like most plans it's a combined data usage so for the month of February my husband and I need to watch closely now our usage since we never came close to going over it. The amount of gigs was 2.5 gigs in less than 8 hours. He had to pull battery out of phone as it was being used up quickly. He noticed that his phone was very warm this is what made him go to DATA USAGE.
They had used over 75% of our usage for the month in less than a days time. I tried chatting with the company since apparently this is the only form of communication. Before I knew it the person on the other end that I was chatting with said she was closing our account. I have tried contacting them and they gave me ticket # but no word. I have contacted my credit card company but this company is a rip off and consumer need to be aware. They owe us money. While I was chatting on my cell with an Amanda S. She asked me to go to pc and log in which I did. Once I tried logging in I looked back at mobile and she had signed off on the chat line. Her point was to let me know she closed out account. We had proper documentation on file with a letter of notarized per their request. This company needs to be shut down they are crooks. They show phone numbers on the Web but all numbers have been disconnected.
Simply put, this vendor failed to provide me a refund after repeated requests. The issue was the PhoneSheriff software, used on the Android cell phone and event logging from the internet did not work. Specifically the GPS feature did not track the phone. I worked with RetinaX support for three days at about 10 hours to find a solution. They could not resolve it, Then blamed me for the problem, saying that i had other spying software on my device. I purchased PhoneSherriff because the previous solution did not have features i wanted. PhoneSheriff did, but dispite efforts to get the software to work correctly it failed.
I requested a refund, the Director of Support Operations blamed me for the software failure and denied the refund. What a RipOff.
Do not buy this software the support for it is awful bacause it Chat Support only and it almost seemed to be robotic. They kept asking the same questions each day I contacted via chat.
You wont get refund but will be told its your fault. Gotta love that !

It doesn't work as advertised. Phonesheriff drains battery so fast that even a galaxy note 2 battery would only last for 6 hours tops. During that 6 hours it failed to deliver any report whatsoever.
Just would like to warn of these people, I experienced exactly the same problems as in the original report (which can be found if you search on RetinaX). The software called PhoneSheriff Investigator doesn't work, no useful functionality at all. Please try the free 7 day version - you will be convinced. The vendor claims that because it's a free trial version not all logs can be seen, but in fact you will see no logs at all.
The scammers exploit the difficulty in claiming a refund for intangible goods, such as software purchased online. They even went to the extent of mimicking a live technical support - totally useless, will keep askinf you to re-install some "versions" of software, none of which works - complete waste of your time and money. These people shoild be arrested for fraudulent claims.
