Rocky's Auto Credit Reviews

Went to rocks because of my credit and they state that it is 499.00 down. This is not true. They will tell you upon sign the contract that it will be more down and you can pay it out. The first day I took it home, a couple of hours later I was on the freeway and the car overheated. I called them and the mechanic said that's normal. Um no its not. I took the car back the next day and they stated that they fixed it. And again it started overheating. The second problem was I was a couple of days late paying the rest of the down payment and was in contact with someone via email and they came and repoed my car and wanted to charge me a lot to get it back. I didn't even have the car a month. Now they sued me and having my check garnished. I have yet to see any paperwork or anything. Thank you very much and I would never recommend this place to anyone

Rockys credit auto dealer is shady with a capital S.I called on a 2011 Ford Expedition with low miles.I asked if it was available and if he had any other info on the vehicle. The salesman named J said "oh yes we have it its a great vehicle." My Wife and I go down to the dealer and first words out of his mouth is "you know this is a salvage vehicle right?" No I replied. He said it is posted everywhere on our website (which it's not) and on cars.com (where I saw this vehicle). Both places it was not listed. Ok fine its a salvage title. I asked why was this a salvage. J states "oh this was a theft recovery". I asked any accidents? He said maybe a minor one. Thats fine I say can I see the carfax. J states "the manager will have it and he will be in tomorrw." I called the next day and spoke with Justin. Went down and looked at the carfax. Low and behold it was not a theft but a colision total loss. Even after that I am still interested in buying the vehicle. He showed me the carfax and the pictures of the damage. How much they put into it to fix it. It looked good but I wanted to have the vehicle inspected at the ford dealer first. Justin the manager said " you will have to find a way to get it down there". You would think if you wanted to sell this car that has been on your lot since September (its end of November at the time of this review) the would be bending over backwards to get this sold. I asked if one of his mechanics would be able to go with me 4miles to the Ford Dealer to have it inspected. He was all put off that I would have the nerve to ask this. It seems to me that he was hiding something and did not want us to have the vehicle inspected. Anyway this place is dishonest from the start and I would say buyer beware. Don't be that person that gets taken!
