SAE Institute Group, Inc. Reviews

  • Feb 7, 2015

Philip Ramge, who works at SAE London, sold me a fake course through the website saeonline.com, including a Master of Arts/Master of Science Professional Practice (Creative Media Industries). The website, the con man (Ramge) and his company (SAE) claimed it to be accredited by Middlesex University, England.

The reality is: they want you to send 5,500€ right away (almost 6,500$) to a bank account in Germany so they can avoid the British taxes and even your receipt (they will just give you a useless piece of paper), and then you will find out that this "program" is made up of… nothing. Yes, nothing: no faculty, no campus, no books, no useful online material, and not even a curriculum.

Basically they sell fake degrees through "life experiences", but after 12 months (just before the hypothetical graduation) they will ask you for more money, otherwise they won't send you the diploma. In other words, it's a scam.

More importantly, SAE Institute London and SAE Online are the same thing: they just use a different name and a different virtual location not to pay the taxes. Everything is done under the table and is not accredited. Until last year, Philip Ramge was the one in charge of the online scam; he still works at SAE, though I don't know if he is still in charge of SAE Online.

Any Nigerian diploma mill is much more serious.

SAE… what a joke. And what a scam.
