WORST SITE MANAGER EVER AT HALCYON SANDALS ST LUCIA.
The manger at Halcyon Sandals treats the locals like SCUM she does not care about the poor!
I think its WRONG for people to go and stay at a hotel who treats locals like they are scum - this is their country not ours.
My car broke down in the middle of a crazy busy road on Saturday night. I had a bunch of kids in the car with me and it was so scary to push the car to the side of the road. I felt blessed to see a un-used service entrance to put the car into- so that no one would get hurt.
I called my husband and myself and my husband and our kids tried to fix it, we stayed at the side of the road until 11pm with no luck of fixing and we could not get a hold of a friend who would tow it for us. We talked to the Sandals security guards and they said that no one uses the entrance except for the Site Manager who uses the entrance as “her personal entrance.” I asked if it was any type of security or fire issue to park there and they said no – it was only used as her personal entrance. So we left it there in anticipation to try to get it fixed the next day on Sunday afternoon. On Sunday morning I had to teach a class at church early morning and because we have babies I asked my husband to help watch the babies as I teach and then right after, we will go deal with the car. (less than 12 hours later)
While we were in church the site manager refused to give us time to find someone to tow it and THREATENED to call the cops on us. My husband had to go flying out of church and pay for a tow truck to tow it, which we DID NOT HAVE money for.
I have NO IDEA WHY Sandals hires people who treats Locals SO BAD. They really should just HIRE mangers who have a HEART and understand that this county is POOR and clearly we were in a BAD spot with no money. There was no reason why anyone has to be so heartless. I dont know her - but Im sure she has a fancy car and has no car issues. Im sure it was not that difficult for her to go in the main entrance and park. Its sad that she treated my husband a local St Lucian so bad. I believe she saw a poor local and just threatened him like he was scum and she was all that, this is NOT a HOTEL I would send my friends and family too when they come over to visit.
