I enrolled in the Pharmacy Technician program in 2011 and at the time it seemed pretty good. Some of the classes I felt was a waste with no real instruction. I could have learned the material myself without wasting my time and GI Bill benefits. I completed the 10 month program nonetheless and earned a Diploma and earned my certification the same month. The program was very expensive and useless. I have and still have a diploma and certification that is useless. I got a job 2 months after I graduated but it only paid a measly $8.00 an hour. I had to quit work because it was getting me nowhere with no room for growth.
Even after all the schooling, time, and effort, as well as my GI Bill benefits this was a total waste and very disappointing for me. If I would have known this in the beginning, I would not have attended this school or any private for profit school. I even asked the program director if there were any job leads and he seemed like he was to busy and always referred me to career services which was even more useless! I do not encourage anyone to attend this school or any other private, for profit school unless you don't mind being disappointed and frustrated! I should have went to a public college instead. I beg anyone considering attending this school to please heed my advice and learn from my mistake!
