Save Point Financial/Sam Rossi/Larry Bell/Michelle Page Home Saver

I was offered a loan modification by this company, Save Point Financial/Home Saver, by Sam Rossi. At first, of course, it all sounded too good to be true. Sam reassured me that this was a government loan modification and I received a government grant that would reduce the amount I would have to pay to get my loan modified. Sam Rossi told me that since the value of my house is underwater, I was approved for a $6000 grant in which very few get and even for a $60,000 reduction on my mortgage balance due to the new Obama mortgage programs/HARP. I was asked to send $4434 and honestly, I was definitely apprehensive. However, Sam the smooth talker, convinced me that this was all on the up and up. I researched the web, went to their website, the BBB and I heard nor saw anything suspicious. I believed him. Well, I was told by October 1 I would be getting the documents to sign for the loan modification and my payment was going to be drastically reduced, my mortgage balance was going to be reduced, and I would not have to make a house payment for two months. I was then asked to send more documents. Well, then those weren't enough and was asked to send more documents. Then I kept calling and noone was returning my calls or emails....even though in the beginning, it was within minutes when I received responses. After they received my money, I have not heard anything! I cannot believe a company can get away with this and they should reap the full repurcussions of the law. They are scavengers and feeding on people who are already in a hopeless situation due to the Obama economy and homes have lost value! If you hear from this company, DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY! I can only hope and pray that I can get my money back.

I recently received a call from a Home Saver Company called Save Point Financial stating that they could help me save my home by applying for a loan modification. The gentleman I talked to name is David Craig. David claimed he could definitely get me approved for a loan modification even though I already have been turned down by my lender and HUD. I asked David is there a fee for his services and he soard of ignored me so I asked again and he stated that there may be a small fee (red flag).

Well Daivd sent me the papers to fill out and the necessary documents I need to send along with the application. I didn't fill out the loan papers right away, so David had his assistance Alicia Neal to reach out to me to see when will I be sending the application back. I went on ahead and filled out the application and faxed it back to this company.

I would say about 3 or 4 days later they had an approval for me. I was shocked, because I know it usually takes longer then that for them to make a decision approving a loan modification. David went over the terms of the approved loan modification and emailed the loan for me to sign.

First of all the documents looked like they were made up. I only had to sign about 3 forms, which we already know when signing loan apps it's about 6 or more pages. He told me that he already talked to the manager at my lending company and HUD.

Per loan approved they dropped my interest rate from 3.50 to 1.875, which dropped my payments from $1264 to about $769. The company fee was $5669, but HUD paid $2800 and I need to pay the remainder. Another reason why I knew this was fake too is that they only accept cashier's check or wires. I told David this is too good to be true. I asked is this real he didn't answer me he continue to talk over me.

Well the next day I called my lender to see if David from Save Point Financial contact them and they said no one contacted them regarding my foreclosure. In addition, I called the attorney to see if they heard from this company and they haven't heard from them either.

Please beware of this company. I think this is someone working out of their home or an office they rented to take people's money.

These BUTTWIPES, alias Gerald Harper (over the phone he sounded like he may be a little "light in the loafers") and Jennifer Wilson pulled exactly the same ripoff on me as was pulled on Carla from Greensboro, NC, only the names and dollar amounts were different. They promised to get my mortgage re-done with some of the money Obama was giving away. I had to send them a check for half of the closing costs, $2645.00 and my loan was approved and I would make my first mortgage payment on August 1st. Someone would come to our home before that to set up payment dates for bi-weekly drafts. When Gerald contacted me, I had already missed 4 mortgage payments and my lender was calling daily. Now, I have been served with papers by the Sheriff and the lender's attourney. Foreclosure hearing is set for July 3rd. Since Gerald told me not to worry about making anymore payments, that he would contact the lender, I am now over $6000 behind on the mortgage.
