I hired sheds for all to build a shed in my back yard. They were sent pictures of what the shed was intended to look like. The agreed they could build the shed to look exactly like the picture. The only variation was it would not have the ornamental square on the roof. But other than that it would look just like the picture. They also informed me it was a custom shed and would be 550.00 above the normal price for sheds of the same size. I agreed even though the only real difference is the shed i wanted had one door not two. We agree on a day and they showed up 4 hours late. When they got here that had the cheapest of material even though they say they they use the highest quality material, insufficient bracing for the floor, they didn't have the hardware that was in the picture, no roofing paper, and no material to make the step as in the picture and as it turns out no material for the skirting on the building, again as in the picture. I had to buy all the materials they didn't show up with except for the skirting. Since they showed up 4 hours late i finally had to leave to take my 7 yr. Old nephew to get dinner and they assured me they would get the skirting on before they left. When i got home they had not put the skirting on the building and the only door they did install sticks and not just a little. The next day the owner shows up at 9:30 am as agreed to pick ip the check. He certainly wasn't late for that. We went to the back yard i explained that they needed to come back and fix the door and finish putting on the skirting and i would even pay for the wood to skirt the building. He agreed to all this, so like an idiot i handed him a check written in the full amount, really stupid move on my part. I should have already realized this guy wasn't trust worthy. So we have some text exchanges, which i still have copies of, he agrees they will come out and finish the job. Then after that no more communication. The slime ball never finished the job and just left me hanging with an unfinished costom shed i payed $550.00 extra for. Not only is the job unfinished. It totally alludes me what i paid $550.00 extra for. Everything extra i paid for, everything that made it a custom shed i provided. My recommendation is don't use these guys. They have number pus complaints with the better business bureau.

I hired Sheds for All Tex / Competitive Sheds to build a cabin for me. I met with Dante Villarreal AKA George and his construction manager Raymond at their office located at 228 E. 27TH St. Houston, Texas 77008.

I hired this company because they said they could build the cabin, do the plumbing, electrical and all finish work without bringing in sub-contractors for one price.

Almost from the beginning this project was a disaster.

Plumbing:

There were no vents installed for the toilet, shower, vanity, kitchen sink, or washing machine. Wrong sized pipes were used, pipes were installed running uphill. The end result was that the pipes would not drain and sewage gas would have been released into the cabin. I had to hire a plumber to completely re-work the plumbing and install the proper vents.

Electrical:

Wrong wires were used to wire fixtures. In some cases, two different wires were run into the same fixture. All kitchen outlets were put on one circuit. Wrong wire run to range so range would not heat properly. No power run to A/C. The results were fire hazards, over taxed breakers and appliances that would not work.

Roof

First, we agreed to install a black architectural roof on my cabin. Sheds for All Tex installed both black and brown shingles on the roof. At no time did we discuss using two colors of shingles on my roof. In addition, there were numerous exposed nails, the vent on the roof was installed wrong, flashing was not terminated properly and the list goes on. The net result was that my brand new roof was LEAKING within two weeks and I had to completely replace the roof. The contractor who installed the new roof said it was one of the worst roofing installations he had ever seen.

Hardi Plank Siding

The Hardi Plank siding is coming loose, was not caulked and it appears that joint flashing was not used. The siding was clearly not installed correctly according to the installation instructions.

Framing/Construction:

Walls are not plumb, sheetrock was not completed

In addition to the issue above, when I attempted to address these issues with George he pulled his crew off the job and stopped communicating with me. To date, he has yet to answer a certified letter I sent him outlining these issues.

Sheds for all is the reason the Deceptive Trade Practices Act exists.
