I live in the northeast Portland area and I frequently shop in the Costco in that area. I was interested in signing up for Directv and was excited about the gift card I received. i live in a neighborhood full of trees with a few in my front and backyard. I asked the sales person if I could still get the dish signal. I was told that the signal can come right through the trees.
I come to find out the day of my install that the signal cannot come through trees and that there wasn't any place on my property where they could fix the dish so I could get service. I was so frustrated after calling the salesperson who signed me up to ask them why they lied to me and they told me they never said that.
He he made it sound like it was my fault for not telling him I had a lot of tress in my property when I clearly remember asking him about the tree situation.
I am so displeased with the lack of unprofessionalism with Shomax and how they teach their employees to talk to customers. I complained to Costco the next time I was in there but maybe I should keep doing it since I keep seeing directv people in there being pushy with the customers.
I don't even know why Costco allows these people to be in the stores when they are lying to customers. Please listen to my advice and stay away from Shomax Management and their lies. It seems like they'll do anything to get a sale.
