Sirius XM Holdings Reviews

I called Sirius last month to renew (prior to renewal date because automatic renewal goes to FULL PRICE) The price was too high even with offers to spend less - so I said cancel the service for all Radios.

Got a bill this month for renewal . I called again and found out the last rep did not actually cancel it - just said okay and we were done.

FYI - YOU HAVE TO GET A CANCELLATION NUMBER TO INSURE THEY HAVE CANCELED IT.

So I had to go through the whole thing again where they offered it for less and then less again, then they start offering it for less but quickly say 5 months instead of 6 months - I kept telling them I want to cancel, finally they transferred me to another group who also tried to get me to continue.

I finally got someone to actually cancel it. Then after getting the cancellation numbers they told me I had a balance DUE?!!! Had to get transferred again to someone who would "work with me" on the Balance due! (this when I had cancelled prior to the renewal date). They only offered 5.00 towards the balance due of 12.00 - Finally I just said fine. I will pay the 6 dollars but I will never spend another dime on Sirius.

I will use the money we save to have players/phones to play our music or listen to radio we like instead of Sirius.

Do not expect me or anyone in my family to use Sirius again. Sirius is losing customers. Three cars - all with Sirius radios that will not be used. They could have had some money had they offered reasonalbe pricing for three Radios but now they get nothing.

I have a june to november 2014 suscription to Siirus XM radio, a week before renew I cancel, check my radio and it was off, no signal, I did notice an activity from them in feb. 2015 , call my Credit card and dispute the charge of 51.00, then my C.C. send me sirius billing statment and notice that the day after I cancel they charge me for 50.59 for my hisbands pickup, without authorization and no clue about the charge because we were out of the country and didnot catch the charge, I'm trying to get my money back, of course thay ask me if I want to cancel the radio for the pickup, ??? why they ask me that I did not order that, They did underhanded!!!! Horrible company maybe they are in deep sh.. and trying to make money from us, I put a block thru my credit card, as they still have my account number, next thing I will cancel my credit card! if....

My XM radio subscription was about to renew when I sold the vehicle. Not wanting to incur another year's charge, I called and spoke with a customer service rep to cancel the service. Of course he kept trying to upsell and sell service on the new vehicle, even after I provided all the information to cancel service. After 10-15 minutes of listening to his pitches, I asked him to simply cancel the old service and I hung up.

Of course the "customer service" rep didn't cancel the service, or it wouldn't be a Rip Off. So they billed me for another year and I didn't pay since the car was sold. After a couple months, I guess they realized I wasn't going to pay so they sent a bill for the first 6 weeks and want me to pay that "PAST DUE" amount. If their customer service was worth a nickel, this would be a happy ending. Instead it's a bully company that takes your credit card number and refuses to stop charging you even after you've canceled service.

I was sold on the promise that I would have all my channel that I previously had on the introductory plan. I signed up for the six months. When I went to the nfl channels they were not listed. I was lied to. They refunded me the money but I feel that was decieving and want them punished.

I have had a lifetime subscription to SiriusXm radio for over 10 years. I guess a lifetime to Sirius is 10 years. I sold the vehicle with the radio in it and the ripoff artists at Sirius will not allow me to transfer my lifetime subscription. A student doing their master's for business could certainly write a great thesis about what not to do to improve your customer service by studying this company.

On Monday, September 15, I authorized Sirius/XM to debit my checking account by the amount of 52.50 to pay a quarterly invoice. Instead, Sirius/XM debited $304.00 from my checking account. Because I am a school teacher and on a tight budget, the extra $252.00 that they took from my checking account caused some of the other scheduled debits to be rejected or bounce, caused extra penalties and fees for each rejection.

On September 15, the same day, I contacted Sirius/XM "Listener Care" and explained that they had taken the extra $252.00 without permission and authorization and requested that it be returned immediately to my bank. I provided my debit card number to them on four occasions so they could do so electronically. Instead, they advised me that "policy" dictated that they refund the stolen funds in the form of a paper check that would take "five to ten business days" to process.

Finding Number 1: Sirius/XM may wipe out your checking account upon their own whim.

Finding Number 2: Once the mistake is pointed out to Sirius/XM, they will not act proactively to solve the issue.

Finding Number 3: The prudent consumer will avoid doing business with this company, or will do so in peril of his/her resources.

The Sirius radio on a CPO 2008 Mercedes worked at time of purchase. Despite intermittent outages, it worked for a year or so. Then, as Sirius software was updated, service was lost. Newer software extednded the channel coverage beyond the capabilities of the original radio. From that point on, the unit rarely worked. Sirius technicians repeatedly referred us to the Mercedes dealer. The Dealer said they could do nothing but install a new usit that we would have to purchase. Sirius technicians said 'not our fault'...Mercedes technicians said 'not our fault'...we continued paying the Sirius charges. On finally giving up and decideing to cancel the Sirius service, I was informed that no credit could be given for the months and months we patiently worked with their technicians to resolve the problem. During this entire episode, the radio DID sometime work...proving that the unit was capable ot receiving a signel and performing properly. The problem clearly lies with the SiriusXM software and signal.

Avoid SiriusXM...use USB's, memory sticks, and broadcast radio to avoid this type of frustration.

Siriusxm are theives! They are embezzlers and crooks! Lied about the yearly amount and over charged me for both of our Hyundais vehicle subscriptions. Rep lied and said the yearly price went up and overcharged us by 50 per car. Then keeps double billing us for our home device. They have stole $260.00 from us so far! CROOKS, liars, thieves, frauds, embezzlers, praying upon the elderly and any other soul who mistakenly assumes that a big name company such as theirs is reputable enough to trust. NO, not at ALL! You can find lawyers with active class action lawsuits pending against siriusxm. Google it and sign up! This the only way to stop them since no one in our government give a shit about these dirty thieving bastards! Thanks, xm and thanks government and U.S. law. Good going...let them keep stealing from us all!

These are the theives and fraudulant embezzlers of SeriusXM Satellite Radio:

1.) James E. Meyer is Chief Executive Officer of SiriusXM

2.) David J. Frear joined SiriusXM in June 2003 as the Company's Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

3.) Patrick Donnelly has been the Executive Vice President and General Counsel

4.) Dara Altman is Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer

5.) Scott Greenstein is President and Chief Content Officer of SiriusXM, overseeing all of the satellite radio broadcaster's programming, marketing and corporate marketing activities

Please lets do something about these theives!!
