I sub contracted with a Daniel Smith aka Daniel Vass aka Daniel Barber owner of Smith Property Management on foreclosed property preservation jobs, after completing 3 jobs he started to ignore all communication regarding payment, he uses bogus names and moves frequently to avoid payment. he works along side a woman named Hanna Smith. Not sure that's her real name either. He contracts with nationals such as AFAS, Lauden, MCS, Safegaurd & more. He will not pay you for work you perform. He rips off the nationals and will instruct you to milk the jobs for all you can. He services many states such as Tn, Virginia, Ga, Maryland and more. BEWARE HE IS VERY DISHONEST! Once he has used you for the jobs he disappears. I found another report on here regarding the same complaint. he is a convicted felon who served time in a Alabama prison so not sure how he passed a background check. He uses numerous cell # 865-318-5492, 865-337-4225 I was advised he has moved 3 times in past year to escape people he owes. Maryville Tn, Lenoir city to name a few. he picks up random women and uses them to help him start his business under a new name once he gets in to deep. Advertises on Craigslist for subs.
I worked for Smith property management for 2 months.I kept being promised pay weekly no pay ever came.This is a property preservation company they do maintenance on foreclosed homes .
.The companies that hired Smith are large national companies and require contractors and vendors to have background checks and do the same for contractors, little did i know the people i worked for had a felony charge and spent time in alabama prison.
I contacted then in every possible way to get my money i kept recieving excuses or non replies.Im not he only one .Daniel Smith aka Daniel Barber aka Daniel Vass has went from address to address.He has moved 3 times in the last year and uses a new female friend he meets to help him start a new business name and hire new contractors to scam .Please beware of any dealings in Tennessee with any property preservation companys.
