A couple of years ago I went to the Double jj Ranch in Bracketville which described features such a trophy pasture which cost more that the other pasture which was cheaper because it did not border the 20,000 ranch like the trophy pasture. this year it does not mention pastures. it also said that one woud see numerous deer of which proved wrong when i went just saw does and spikes and not as many as described.
the worst part is the cost of the hunt with penalties for an extra $500 if size is not reached. here is what it cost today and very close just like last time.

maybe this year, things may be better due to all the rainfall, but i would be cautious and hopefully it pays out to those that go and get a deer. the pictures of the deer on the website are the ones that have been on for sometime. the turkey are new and also the hogs.
