In July of 2013 I made contact with Kim LaFlamme of Songdog Kennels of Selma Oregon. I found Songdog on the web as an American Indian Dog breeder. After speaking with Laflamme by phone in July I was told that if I sent a deposit of 425.00 immediately I would be placed on the waiting list for a puppy and would have one by the end of the summer.
The end of the summer came and I did not receive a dog, I was told that I just missed the list. I contacted Laflamme and was told that I would be getting one by November at the latest. Novemeber breedings came and went and again I was told I was passed over again but was a guarentee for christmas. I explained to LaFlamme that my children really were upset that we still dont have a dog but gave him the benefit of the doubt that we would have a christmas dog.
Christmas breedings came and went and again we were passed over. I contacted LaFlamme and was told that we were guarenteed the March breeding and not to worry. Again March breedings came and we were passed over again, I was told that unfortunately a dog did not come up for us and he would still be keeping an eye out for us.
In May I contacted LaFlamme and advised him that we had received a puppy from another source and would like a refund due to the fact that we had been passed over so many times and everyone else on the list around us had already received dogs. LaFlamme stated that he would not give us a refund but we could stay on the list until we wanted an AI dog from him. I explaiend to LaFlamme that he broke his promises with us repeatedly and that we would like a refund.
LaFlamme then stated that we were banned from ever getting an AI dog, and that we would not get a refund either. I am now out 425.00 and no dog from him.
