Spas Of Arizona Reviews

  • Feb 12, 2015

We took delivery of our $7,034.09 Dynasty spa in August of 2014. We shopped around and because SPA’S OF AZ – SPA MAN SPAS have been in the valley for over 30 years we decided to purchase from them. We were also considering purchasing a spa from Costco – which was a MUCH better price, but wanted the personal service of having them in the state we live.

We purchased our spa from Stacey Fisk at 17455 N. Black Canyon Hwy. We talked in great lengths different product & about warranties. Within a month 1 side of the spa quit working. We immediately contacted General Manager, Gary Kramer who we had also met and worked with at the show room. He had us contact a repair company who kept promising to call us back, but never did. The repair company sent us a replacement part. We had no idea what to do with this part. My husband continued to leave Gary numerous messages. Gary finally called us back and came out personally to install this part.

In January we tried to turn the stereo and it did not work. We had maybe turned the stereo on 3 times. We contacted the warranty department with Dynasty as the stereo is covered 100%. They directed us to AZ SPA TECH who does all warranty work for Spas of Arizona. I was told over the phone this would be covered 100% and just to give them a call & they would come out & take care of it. I called AZ SPA TECH & was told there is a $90 trip fee on a spa 5 months old that should be covered 100%. I told them I would NOT be paying a $90 fee for a brand new spa. We called to talk to Gary and found out he has left the company. My husband talked to the new General Manager who said he would take care of it. We were then contacted by AZ SPA TECH who again informed me that there would be a $90 trip fee. We contacted Spa’s of Arizona & let them know we would not be paying a$90 fee. Shortly after, we received a call from Stacy stating we were out of luck and we have to pay $90 to use our warranty.

NEVER was it disclosed to us that we would have to pay to use our warranty. Within 5 months of owning our spa, we have had 2 issues. We believe we might have a used spa. This is about principal. Never have I had to pay a fee to utilize my warranty for a new product 100% under warranty. If this is the way they want to do business this needs to be disclosed to their customers.
