I contacted SPECIALTY EQUIPMENTS RENTALS as their Internet web site was real nice and professional, I was calling from CA late on Sunday thought I would leave a message for Monday a return call the Gentleman answered said he had amachine available wanted approximately 3900.00 for one weeks rental I agreed and gave him a bankcard. When the machines arrived they were broken down the bolts keep falling out the bottom and missing parts we had to stop every 20-30 minutes to put them back in, The person whom delivered them came out numerious times to repair and finely said he would bring another machine he had to take that back to the shop, they brought another machine that lasted a day it would not run more than a hour, they then picked that machine up and said they would bring one back the next day they did and Yes it ran we finished, they said they would give us credits for our trouble but that was in California, In Texas Specialty Rentals started running our credit card through daily for 700.00 and once for 300.00 with out authorization when they found out the ATM would not accept them they started running our card thru the Credit Card side the bank canceled the card at that point. The Company in California seemed to be have alright people working for them but old equipment trying to keep up. Specialty Equipment Rentals stated they offered quality equipment their prices are not cheaper they just have a nice web site, we have rented from others for the same amount of money with equipment that helped us get done and half the time we were at that site, They have not contacted us until I started to rent another machine for a project we were doing and thought about our last experience with them so I rented from a company down the street from them, I think they got upset I started getting calls up to 30 to 40 a day saying I owe them two invoices and a 350.00 invoice for something that was never ordered as well as returned on the final day.
If we were going to rip them off why did we return there expensive cables they left at the site as them that.
Instead Arron has been putting message all over the internet saying how bad we are not paying our bills when I told him I would be fair with him and pay one day if a error was made after 8 months of time We never received statements from them, the party that brought the machines lives less than 5 miles from us. He has been calling leaving threathing messages 30 -40 times a day. Calling the GC telling them they were taking them to court or making them pay, they did have a Superintdent on-site whom can back this up.
Maybe people should not do business with them as well because I documented the machines took pictures of the damages took pictures of the ID NUMBERS when they were picked and and another was returned.
I think Specialty Equipment Rentals is the real Rip-off here!
