Dishonest dishonest company Spinnaker

This is a company that doesn't know what honesty and integrity means, we bought a timeshare in Branson and paid it off paid the maint fees that go up every year and then they take away the reason we purchased the unit in the first place it was a perk given to us for buying the first building built and being charter members they don't have to keep a commitment but we are expected to, but we arent' going to keep ours now to them and continue the outrageous maint fees and they have their pitbulls calling daily, we also had it given to a qualified man but Spinnaker wanted sooo much upfront money he refused , so they screwed themselves twice by being greedy, oh well we shall see how this turns out but stay away from this company they are not good.

I bought the package over the phone on March 11, 2015. I cancelled on March 13th. After several phone calls I finally got a call from the man who sold it to me. He simply would not take "no" for an answer. Tried to reduce the amount, offer a year's extention, on and on.

He finally called me a very rude woman and hung up! I've already disputed the charge on American Express. I would advise others to be careful with this company.

Me and my husband attended a timeshare presentation at Spinnaker Resorts June 21, 2007. They will tell you anything to influence you to buy timeshare. Beware of Alonzo Richards (our so called salesman)-- although I am sure he is trained by this company. All I can say about Spinnakers is fradulent fradulent fradulent! They get away with this because you actually sign a legal contract. But what about everything you are promised? These are just a few things promised at our presentation.....

1.) We were told we were purchasing a gold star timeshare. After reading through literature...we found this was silver.

2.)We were told that with this gold timeshare we qualify for Interval International, Upgraded to the gold package. False. Only the first year is paid for and if we want to continue membership with II we are responsible for fees.

3.)We were told that we could stay anyplace listed in the Interval International book for $349 or less (gold star resorts). This was for a full week or less, and we were not required to exchange our week purchased. Unlimited. False. I was quoted a price of $1, 099 through II.

4.) We were told that we qualified for the sports package at our purchased timeshare, therefore, we qualify for any sports listed at a resort. Example: Snorkling, parasailing, jet ski rentals. Totally false! You have to pay for extracurricular activities.

5.)We were proposed a scenario of ""if we didnt want to use our week and if we wanted to rent it out"". They said If they handle renting out unit, transaction fee for this is $170. False again. Try we get 60% and they get 40%. and then on top of that you have to pay your $635 maintenance fees. So therefore you would pocket approx. $120

Now does this sound like something you would want to be locked into???

I didn't mention that I gave these fools $917 for downpayment and will be making a monthly payment for the next 7 years.

I tried to get out of this contract due to misrepresentation, after the fact of findng all this information out once I returned home. I have had NO success nor has the management been helpful. I have emailed our sales person several times with no response. I am here and they are there so what are you to do ?? I have had conversations with the management and they told me they have never encountered a customer disatisfied and will speak with our salesman relating to my accusations. I have heard nothing...but I did recieve my first bill for payment in the mail today. Go figure!!!
