I applied for a loan on 6/12/15. I was told I was approved for $5000. I alsi received an email stating Dear xxxxx,

Congratulations! Your application has been reviewed and approved for $5,000.

On 6/13/15 I received a call from Adam verifying my information and getting more info. He told me he would be calling me 6/15/15 to finalize the loan.

6/15/15 came and went, no call. I called 6/16/15 and left a message. No return call by 5pm so I called back. When I didnt get a call back by noon on 6/17/15 I called the main number. After being transfered 3 times I got a woman on the phone who told me I was unapproved. I asked why and she said income I asked how she couldnt answer.

She then promised to resubmit and call me back in an hour. It has now been 50 hours and no call. This is fraud. No where does it say approval contingent upon or anything indicating they would not close on the loan. They now have all my personal info and have made 2 hard inquiries on my credit report all for a scam.

Beware! I have also filed with the BBB and the NJ dept of banking and tomorrow will be contacting the state attorney general to file a consumer fraud complaint!

Spoke to a guy named MATT at Springleaf (FOX LAKE)! What a f-ing jagbag this guy is. He is not nice nor easy to speak to. He was VERY rude on the phone and was yelling at me rather than speaking to me as a human being. This person should be fired for how he handled the situation and the threats he made during the call. This was totally not acceptable! What the hell happened to customer service? Also, I am a client, you do not speak to clients in such manners! I will NEVER use them again once my loan is paid in FULL! I will also make sure others do not use them to borrow money from.....mark my words..............I WILL PUT YOU OUT OF BUSINESS!

I had an account with american general, paid off well before their convenient little namechange for whatever reasons they needed to change their name, and their NEW name keeps sending me forms about how THEY have all the rights to share all kinds of info about ME, who never had an account with some company named "springleaf"! I'd called them before about this, asking them to delete records they have on me, their attitude is prettymuch "too bad so sad we own it we own you have a nice day click.". isnt there some kind of limit or regulations about how long they can keep MY personal information to use however they want, when I hadnt ever had an account with the entity now known as springleaf? I consider everything from "springleaf" to be harrassment. the mercenary company known as blackwater may have been in deep trouble with possible charges of treason, they changed name to Xe and moved their HQ to Dubai to be beyond our jurisdiction and continue doing business as usual with US being made to pay for it, stinks!

My experience with Springleaf was very BAD .I don`t recommend these company to anyone. They charge me late fee for no reson & when i call to complain about it they say we are sorry we will fix it after we run maintenance.

For 9 month now they can`t fix my account

Springleaf bought my account from HFC & i`m supposed to pay $99.5 a month.

After that they ask me for some documentation to send to them. I did all what they ask me to do

But still as of today they keep sending bills to pay $ 211 amount i call more than 80 times to fix the issue but still they can’t fix my account.

That’s nightmare i have they report me to the 3 credit Bureau that I’m late not paying the correct amount.
