I would like to report that starion energy seems to scamming people everywhere lots of phone call in our area. they say that they can save you money but they do not.
I am (was) a representative on behalf of Station Energy please do not fall for the scam that they are calling you for. Their rates are variables and they are constantly jacked up after your enrollment. Their business is very unprofessional from the supervisors to the office managers I was terminated due to the fact that I asked that the loud blaring and vulgar music be turned down as well as minimize the screaming. Most agents there minus myself are all drug addicts including supervisors. They have children running around like it's a day care and I've even witnessed drugs being sold from the building as well as used. Please protect yourself by contacting your electric company and asking that they remove Station Energy as a supplier for you.
They came to my door and offered a cheaper rate for electric and it was cheaper for a couple of months then they didnt tell me it was a variable rate and hiked it up to about 22 cents per kilowatt! my normal electric bill was around 77 dollars a month now I am paying nearly 300 a month what a rip off, I almost had my electric shut off, dont go with there service its a scam!
Starion has been charging their variable rate customers 22 cents per kWh and their fixed rate customers .0927. Apparently I had a variable rate contract (though I can't find any paperwork). I understand paying a "premium" to not be locked into a contract, but charging MORE than DOUBLE is just price-gouging! I'd expect to pay maybe a couple cents more, not double.
