As someone who was badly misinformed about this man's reputation through someone who is no longer a friend, I can tell you that I was threatened verbally and via email by Stephen Baring Jones. He threatened to throw me out of a window and his so called art was hideously over pieces and basically, tat. I reported him to police and his dodgy associate overseas contacted me also to tell me about how bad the picture relaly was.
Stephen Baring (aka Jones) committed gross fraud and has scammed me of over $ 38,000 USD of my hard-earned money.
He stole my 1950 pink gold and steel Cartier watch, my 1946 PLATINUM Patek Philippe rare "Top Hat" watch, my 1993
steel, black-dialed Breitling, and cunningly smooth-talked me into making a $ 7,500 USD deposit into his "Vintage Watch
Investment Fund, and accrued monthly interest payments from The Fund. HIS WRITTEN AGREEMENT stipulated that I
would get a 15% return on every watch that he sells during the monthly sales cycle.
I must be bloody persistent. It is due to Baring that I am penniless and therefore I must depend upon the generous kindness
of dear friends to keep my head afloat - namely, to avoid homelessness.
To the Victims of Baring: DO contact the London Police Department Fraud/Scam Unit and the Powys (Wales) Police Department. IT IS EXTREMELY IMPERATIVE THAT STEPHEN MARK HUGH BARING (aka JONES) is put behind bars for a long time.
