Suddenlink Communications Reviews

I was quoted a total price for tv, dsl, and phone service of $111.57 per month with no installation charges for a period of 12 months for the middle tier of services and then it would go up $25 per month.

I received my first bill on 5/14/2015 and it was $136.14 and did not include installation charges. That is $24.57 more than I was quoted when I ordered the service. I called in and they said they could reduce the bill by $12.50 per month but I would have to sign up for easy pay which I was not informed of and also still above the price I was quoted when I ordered the service. I would not have a problem with the easy pay but I refused because that was not part of the original agreement.

I plan to cancel the service right away but I am very disappointed with the way they conduct business and I have been very inconvenienced by their actions. Beware!!!!

When we moved to our new house, the only choice for Internet was Northland Cable. Their top speed for consumer Internet was 6Mbps, very slow, but all we could get. It was also expensive at $60 per month. At the beginning of 2014, Suddenlink Cable acquired them. They said it would be a year or so before they could get our infrastructure ungraded, and offer better speeds in our area. Since Suddenlink does not even offer speeds as slow as 6Mbps (for $55, they offer 50Mbps), I asked if we could expect a price break. The man assured me they were going to look into restructuring our pricing scheme.

Well, here we are a year later, and I am still paying $60 for slow Internet. When I have called they get hung up on the fact that it will be a while before they will have the infrastructure updated to offer better speeds. I don't care if it takes 10 more years to upgrade our speed, I feel we are paying way too much for such slow speeds right now.

I was with Suddenlink years ago, and they offered very good Customer Service. They seemed to have moved away from Customer Service, more towards the bottom line - making money. If there was any other service available, I would go with them, but for now, they are it. DSL is offered, but at even a slower speed than we have. Overall, I am very disappointed in Suddenlink, and their complete lack of Customer Service.

Originally had 10 MBPS thru Suddenlink, then upped to 30 MBPS but couldn't achieve it thru Speedtest, finally after back and forth, they realized I had the wrong Modem for 30 MBPS...went and spent another $120 bucks for a second Modem...so a few months later they call me up out of the blue and offer 50 MBPS for another $10 a month...initially running speedtest for a few days no problem 50 MBPS, then the weekend came...7-12 MPBPS that's it...while paying for 50 MBPS...thanks, but no thanks Suddenlink you are a RIPOFF company.

Recently i purchased the bundle at suddlenlink communications. I just recieved my first bill for $ 338+. I dont understand why the bill is so high, especially since i have no premium movie channels or dports packages. I have one hd box set up. Matter of fact, the room with the box is the only room the cable was installed and then the cable guy cut all other cable plugs i guess in an effort to discourage us running splitters and possibly having to call and pay for a return install and more cable.

Mind you ive used the internet rarely and the home phone ever less so theres no possibility of overage of use. This is ridiculous and i feel a ripoff. Once i saw that bill and got over my shock i immeduately regretted choosing Suddenlink. Theyve monopolized the cable business here and charge exhorbant prices leaving no other option but to get a few channels on a digital box or wish you had extra money on your credit card to order dish or direct tv.

I hope yall can help. Thank you
