After being pressured into signing a contract with Sundance Vacations, my fiance and I immediately felt regret about the situation. As we're planning our wedding right now, neither of our minds were 100% in the game until this week when I approached "Sandy" via email. I'm currently attempting correspondence through email, but she's insisting that I call her.

I'm currently in correspondence with ARDA and the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General in an attempt to find some resolution to this awful situation.

After a number of emails, I still haven't received any new responses from her.

My daughter received a notice that she won a free vacation get away. She contact the company and was told to attend a presentation and pick up her tickets.

On May 14, 2013 she and I attended the presentation in Illinois. Please note she lives in Illinois and I live in Florida. I was on vacation. We saw the presentation and then was taken into another room where a sales person start his pitch. After about 15 mins I asked him about the voucher for the get away vacation. He excused himself and returned with another person. This change and addition of personnel continued throughout the sales pitch.

The offer to buy their product started at $15,000. It went to $2,000 after about 1 hr. I purchased at this price. He exxcused himself again and this time he was so confident he left his packet on the table. The next offer he waas going to give was $1,600. I should have smell a rat at that time. However, I fail to see the scam. Also what should have send warning signals the receipt stamp no cancels/no refunds. That was the very evening. No time given to change my mind.

I have not been able to use this travel package. The places and time I requested was never available (Illinois, Georgia). I decide well at least let me make good on the free trip. I already paid the $198.00 (extra). No such luck. The three dates I requested was not available and the available date was going to cost me an additional $500. Remember this was a free vacation. Also the sales rep will tell you the companies are different. I mention that if it was not for the offer of the vacation I would not have interact with Sundance.

I have called this company several times from May 12.2013 to date and have hung up on them many times because of the nasty way the sales personnel spoke to me. I got one person Bob, if that is his name, who attemptd to explained the package to me. I also got on webnir.

I called again after I was unable to get the cruise and have my $198 deposit returned. When I told the sales person how hard it was to use the vacation package and the cruise and that their company is cheating people, she said no one forced me to purchased the package. I hung up.

I got online, which I should have done long ago, and found all these negative review on this company. Please note I did get my deposit plus the $50. for the webnir. How can these people continue to exist. I am still paying by credit card. I am of the believe that when you purchase goods you should get the goods. You are led to believe you can go anywhere, but that's not so; they tell you where to go. False advertisement/presentation.

My family and I went to Six Flags, Great adventure in Jackson, NJ in August and at the entrance, we were asked to complete some forms for a chance to win a free vavation. We jumped at the chance thinking that it would be great to get a free vacation and that the vacations were being offered through a third party affiliate of Six Flags. A few weeks later, I received a call to say that I won the free vacation and that to claim it, I would have to attend some kind of session in Parsippanny, NJ. I figured that a free vacation was worth the time so I went with my husband and son.

When we arrived, we were directed to a conference room few other couples and we were given a sales pitch for membership into a travel discount program where we would get hotel rooms in many locations for $250 a week/ $500 for a 1 week stay. There were very persuasive. We decided to try the program and we thought we would cancel if we couldn't benefit from it. They asked us to pay $400 up front for membership and then $92 per month for a year, then $99 per year after. We were also told that we should try to schedule the free vacation soon.

When we decided to do the vacation, they told us that we would have to pay $99 each for ""taxes"". We would get a ""free"" round trip flight and 2 nights stay for 2. Unfortunately, our work schedules were not open and it was difficult to find time for a trip. Also, after doing research, we learned that, if we decided to take a vacation, we could find a hotel that would cost us just a small bit more than the ""discounted"" price that sundance offered.

I decided to cancel knowing that we would not be taking many vacations over the next year. They told us that we could not cancel and that it would affect my credit if I stopped making payments. Even after explaining that I don't plan to take any vacations, they told us that we were bound by a contract. Nothing I saw indicated that I would be trapped into this agreement without even using the product.

I don't understand what the implications would be if I stopped paying so I have continued. I am having financial difficulties and cannot afford to pay for something I am not using. We're talking about almost $1600 for a year. That could have paid for a great vacation for my husband and I which we will not be able to afford now.

It is very wrong that these companies are able to get away with these practices.

gocrv / sundacne vacations

Did my 1 hour presentation.. which was a stampede of people swarming you and grabbing you away one by one. I denyed all the offers as I planned to do from the beginning. I read that sundance vacations was a scam and everything, so I said eh,, ill just go get the free vacation. 4 days and 3 nights and only pay taxes? kool! So I send my 100 deposit in.. wait for ever, checking my email constantly. I select my 3 days. wait again for a month and a half. On the 45th day prior to my first selected date I got an email with the reservatons number. I called and waited a half hour but I didn't care.. super excited to go to cancun in a month you know. So she puts me on hold another half hour to check availability, she comes back and says theres no dates available, you will have to re enter new dates and start the process all over again or you can have your deposit back, I said look I heard about all this scam stuff, how is there no dates available whenever I selected dates that weren't even black out dates, I sat through my seminar and waited 2 months to speak to you , waited on hold and everything.. I know there has to be something unless this really is a scam . So she says she will check all 3 destinations and all 3 dates and destinations. on hold again for another half hour. Comes back and said theres nothing anywhere because they are only associated with certain airlines. THEN HANGS UP! So I immediately called back and on hold as I am typing this ive been on hold for 19 minutes and 11 seconds now.. so hopefully I atleast get my deposit back! has anyone gotten theirs back? GOCRV SUCKS AND SO DOES SUNDANCE VACATIONS!! BELEIVE EVERYTHING YOU HEAR!
