we bought a solar hot water system from sunmaxx solar, ( i think) since june we heard nothing, upon calling the company, we heard ,moving ware, they are out of office,no one has heard of our order, no one has heard of linda foltyn, our "trained account manager" aka executive assistant, to ceo adam farrell. the stories don't add up and so far all ALL complants I have read are the same things. a round around. just enought to be in the law, I think there is a cash flow problem, on there part. We are now asking for our money back and seeking legal advise on how to deal with this company. Every thing you can read or hear about this company is bad and we are going thought it . the house is on hold for now and we will find an honest company that backs there products. one star is 3 to many
I ordered a not water solar system from them. They sent me only half of the order, after 30 days i emailed the person that was taking care of my order and was told they were moving and it would be sent in 2 weeks. 30 days later i emailed them and asked where the itmes were and they said it would be sent out in 2-3- weeks. On the 85th day I emailed them and gave them 3 options that would make things rigth. they did not respond. So on the 89th day I filed with Visa a complaint against the company, when they found out the said they will refund the rest of the money back to me. I will not dismiss the complaint until I have check in hand or a credit is in the bank account.
Do not buy anything from this company they are a RIPOFF.
Bought storage tanks from them, when unboxed for the installation the tanks appeared to be other than whet I ordered, both tanks seemed to have been customized for someone else (the tanks had internal electric heaters installed which I did not want, and electrical wires hanging out of a port). Also did not get any documentation with the tanks. Requests for documentation were ignored. requests to return the tanks for correct tanks were also ignored. They are a ripoff...
Don't hold your breath on the refund without legal action. ordered 30 tube solar water heater in june 2013, said 6 to 8 weeks. Paid with credit card at time of sale. Contacted several times over the next year for delivery date, nothing. I finally suggested a refund or waterheater in june of 2014. Linda Foltyn volunteered a refund, even sent me a pdf copy of the refund check. Oct 2014 still no check, no waterheater. I would suggest that unless you are an attorney, do not do business with this company. Do not give them money, you will not get a product or your money back.
I ordered 16 gallons of glycol for my solar hot water system. The reason I went with them is they advertise free shipping on orders over $200.00. Placed the order, they charged my CC and I got an invoice showing free shipping. Great. A day later I was called and informed they would not ship free as it would need to go out via freight and would be too expensive. Huh? Nothing was mentioned about certain items not qualifying. What a incompetent and misleading company.
