I moved into Sutton place, and it was going good for a while. Then the pests showed up, and first it was a few. We called the office, and asked them to do pest control. Not much happened. The cockroaches and other small pest continued to escalate. Still nothing, but we did get a little post it on our kitchen counter saying they stopped by. It started getting much worse, and two months had gone by. We were finding the cockroaches everywhere, in our beds, cabinets, everywhere in the kitchen, and continued to call, but go no help. we had to move out because of this problem, and then they sent us to collections because we left a month early, but our health was becoming a concern. we would find 15 to 20 of them every time we turned around. Also be aware, dog feces are more present than grass, constantly. And that was extremely noticeable for the time we lived there. Filed complaints with the Dallas health department, and the complex was written up twice. But now they have sent us to a collection agency for the last month’s rent, but we could not live there any longer we were waking up to cockroaches in bed, everywhere in the living room and kitchen. My grandson and I both have asthma and allergies, and I have other health issues that I became concerned about living in cockroaches for over 5 months.
We endured this for 5 months without any relief.
Good day Brittney. i read my lease, nowhere did it say i would have to live in dog feces’ continuously, for the entire time we lived there. Nor did it say i would be inundated with cockroaches for the 5 months we did, and you and Sutton place do nothing to clean that up. The cockroaches continued to escalate, and we never got any relief. We have them in out beds, our cabinets, kitchen and bathrooms. on the floors, in all rooms, around the living room. it was very unsettling to have to live like that.
Here is the first bill from Orkin, since we carried YOUR PESTS to our new house. i will explore every and all options for you to pay, these bills, and the debt collectors you placed us in. for just one month. There is no why in hell in would continue to live i a place that seemed ok with constant dog feces everywhere, and with the level of cockroaches we have to endure.
Really, i will be a pest, to use the term, until i am fully compensated for the health conditions you put me, my daughter and grandson thru.
