I ordered a rebuilt tranmission on 5/23/14 and was never given a tracking number. I email and call and was given a bogus tracking number for something that was delivered to Charlote NC back in 2013. Something is seriously wrong with the customer service and I have never been given a straight answer to when and where my part is. I purchased this auto part for $740.00 that includes a warranty that after reading customer complaints and reviews it would not be honored it nessacary. The website looks legitimate but I feel it's a scam ran out of Nigeria and I will never see my part.
I needed a replacement engine for my 2003 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer after blowing a head gasket. I searched online and found SW Engines and requested a quote. I was unsure of the engine size being 4.6 or 5.4, so I looked at invoice where I had a alternator changed at my Ford garage and it referanced a 5.4L engine so I checked that option. I received a quote for $1595 including shipping. I called to order it and when the salesman came on the phone he asked if I was sure it was a 5.4 and i replied I ws not sure. He asked for my VIN# which I read offof y auto registration card and he confirmed it needed a 5.4L engine and processed the order. It took about 10 days for the engine to arrive at my mechanics garage. He called me a few days later and siad that the engine had the studs cut off flush with the block which was taking a lot longer to remove, and that the flywheel would not bolt to it so it had to be the wrong engine. He called the Foprd garage with the VIN# and they confirmedit needed a 4.6L engine due to teh 8th digit being a W. When I called SW Engines to ask about replacement, I talked to Bill who was a total jerk and kept saying I ordered the wrong engine. I told him NO several times that his salesman confirmed from the VIN# that it was a 5.4L and he kept saying I was aliar and they would never do that and now the 4.6L engines are a rare engine and it would cost me $1240 to return the wrong engine and order the smaller engine. I asked for his manager and He said he was the manager and answered to no one. When I called back and talked to Scott e confirmed that was a lie and that John was the manager and had to approve all returns. I just want to return this engine and get what is right an move onto another supplier. I would caution anyone from using this company.
