Sweepstakes Clearinghouse Reviews

Sweepstakes Clearinghouse is a A #1 Ripoff. 4 times I have tried to write a report here regarding them and it mysteriously goes away. So quickly I will write never. never send tham any money, as it is lost forever.

It is impossible to contact them. They have $89.00 of mine and they want more--$35.00 for shipping. Even tho I have sent the merchandise back without accepting it and ask for my money back several times.

I ordered a set of memory foam pillows paid for them Received an email saying they received my check and when to expect them. When Ups came I was told I could not have my package unless I paid an additional $43 I refused I tried calling them but got nothing but a recording prompting me to push buttons but no real customer support I then emailed them asking for the pillows or a refund I got neither or even a response This smells like a ripoff

I was contacted via regular mail be a company called Sweepstakes Clearinghouse. They sent me a brochure with several items for me to purchase. Also enclosed was several $400 credit vouchers that I could only use with them for the purchase price of the item making it a lot cheaper. I liked the 9" Android Tablet that they had for sale. Regularly price the ad said that it was $529.95, so with the $400 discount it knocked the total price down to $129.95 plus S&H. It sounded like a good deal to me for a birthday gift for my teenage son. I read all of the information in the advertisement & it said that I could put this item on lay-a-way and only have to pay $10 per month, plus $1 per month service charge, but it was interest free. So I ordered my tablet and waited for two weeks & received a letter stating that they wanted the balance due of $157.95 before they would ship me the tablet. None of their ad said anything about my not getting the tablet until it was paid in full. By the time that I got it paid off it would be after my son's birthday. Also I thought that to charge me $29.00 for S&H was high also. Needless to say I didn't send them anymore money! Paulette Columbia, Mo

The company sent a mailer with "vouchers" for several different types of "prizes". I was interested in purchasing a laptop computer. The voucher offered is $400.00 towards a top manufactured refurbished laptop computer. You have a certain time to take advantage of the "offer" and you may take advantage of their "lay-a-way" plan or charge the balance of $239.95.

The company apparently takes advantage of the Publishers' Clearinghouse system of sending multiple mailers to consumers. They seemed to have access to mailing addresses. Yet, I came to realize that there is no real way to get back to the "company" to inquire about the status of my "prize".

My last payment was in May 2014; I have not heard from them nor is there any clear way to contact them, except by mail. I fully do not expect to get any type of feedback from them, not my money nor my "prize". People sure are gullible. I could purchase a good, new laptop for about $400- $600!
