THE OWNER OF TARGET AUTO EQUIP. TELLS ME TO SIGN A LEASE APPLICATION,STUPID ME I DID NOT READ IT. I WAS ONLY AN APPLICATION . I WAS INTERESTED IN A NEW TIRE MACHINE AND A LIFT. JOHN THEN SAYS YOU WILL GET A CALL, JUST SAY THE EQUIP. IS HERE SO I CAN DEMO. IT. I TOLD JOHN I DID NOT WANT ANYTHING FROM CHINA! I WANTED A CHALLENGER LIFT@ A QUALITY TIRE MACHINE. A REDLINE TIRE MACH. WAS DELIVERED JUNK!!! AND NO DEMO.I UNWRAPPED THIS MACH. IT WAS MISSING PARTS AND ASSEMBLED BY MONKEYS I CALLED JOHN AND HIS RESPONSE WAS I AM AWAY FOR THE WEEK I WILL TAKE CARE OF THIS WHEN I GET BACK. NEXT AN INSTALLER SHOWS UP WITH MY LIFT AND IN MY NEXTDOOR SHOP AND INSTALLS A LIFT. TOWARDS THE END OF THE DAY I GO TO CHECK ON HIS PROGRESS AND ASK WHEN DID CHALLENGER CHANGE FROM RED TO BLUE? HE TOLD ME HE WAS TOLD TO INSTALL A CHAMPION LIFT. I CALLED JOHN IMMEDIATELY AND SAID TAKE THIS CRAP OUT OF MY SHOP.HE SAYS THE CHALLENGER LIFT WAS A TYPO AND IT IS NOW BETWEEN ME AND THE LEASE COMPANY. THE LEASE COMPANY IS AN OTHER JOKE. I AM STUCK WITH LOW QUALITY EQUIP AND BEING CHARGED FOR QUALIY NAMED STUFF. I WAS TOLD BY JOHN HE WOULD DEMO THE TIRE MACHINE, FIX A LEAK IN MY PRIMARY LIFT, MOVE MY SECOND LIFT WHEREVER I WANTED,POST MY OLD EQUIP,AND PICK UP A CHECK INSTEAD OF FINANCING.NOTHING HE SAID WAS TRUE. I ALSO FOUND HIS EQUIP FOR LESS THAN HALF OF WHAT I AM LIABLE FOR.

It's unfortunate how one can write a review without regard for accuracy and truthfulness. The owner is honest, responsible and caring. His regard for customer service is nothing short of remarkable. He is always there for his customers no matter how much they owe or how little respect they show. Anyone who reads the statement above will ascertain its fabricated to suit one who has a clear agenda towards another goal. The complaint was that the equipment is "junk" and the owner misrepresented what was being sold. In the same complaint the complainant shares his desire to pay for the equipment outright by offering up a check rather than the lease he has agreed to and executed. Would you continue to pay for something if the above was indeed true, of course not! Unfortunately, this was not under the owners control once the financing was finalized as per the customers direction. I've heard many complaints about service at this repair shop, changing parts that aren't defective, charging for labor that isn't performed, taking customers cars for errands and justifying it by saying he was road testing the vehicle even though it's only there for an oil change, etc... Regardless, I'm hopeful all who reads can identify the truth.

Respectfully,

Michelle

Unfortunately, it's possible to write a complaint without accuracy or truthfulness. The owner is all about satisfying his customers. It's transparent by reading the complaint that the consumer has a different agenda. I'm hopeful people identify the underlying truth. If all was accurate, would you be willing to offer up a check to someone who misrepresented what they were selling and it be "junk"? Of course not! The customer changed his mind as to the method of payment. He elected to finance. Target introduced the customer to a lender. They agreed to the terms together and executed a finance contract. The customer changed his mind and no longer wanted to finance the purchase. He requested Target pick up a check in full. The owner contacted the lender on his behalf to no avail. Regrettably, the owner had to convey to this customer it was not under his control. If the lender would agree to void the contract, obviously it doesn't make s difference who writes the check to Target. The customer became irate and started this false rampage. I've heard many bad experiences regarding people bringing their car to this repair shop. Complaints about charging for parts that were not defective, labor for work never done, using vehicles for errands claiming they were test driving them even though the cars were in for oil changes, window repair, headlight replacement, etc... It doesn't surprise me a man of this character would produce such false accusations.

Respectfully,

Michelle
