Target Reviews

I went to Target to purchase a digital camera. As I looked at the choices they had I noticed that there was a nice one that was on sale for $199.00. The regular price was $299.00. So that was $100 bucks off the regular price. So I decided to purchase that camera. As the cashier was ringing up the camera it totaled $299.00 So I told her to double check because it was on sale. She doubled checked and sure enough the tag said the sale price. The cashier had to call the assistant manager on duty because she didn't have the authority to mark down the price. So after a few minutes and multiple calling of said manager she finally came to our check out. She looked at the normal price and then the sale tag. The assistant then called another assistant on her walkie talkie and walked away. After another few minutes she came back and told me that the sale tag was from last week and that it was an "Error" and she couldn't give me the sale price. She then quickly disposed of the sale tag and refused to give me the camera for $199.00. This is not right because the error was theres and not mine. It was not my fault that they didnt do their jobs right and in return I had to suffer by either purchasing the cameral at full price or no camera at all. How is this even legal? I know at the grocery store where I work if the error was our fault because we didnt take down a sales tag we would have honored the tag price and not even thought twice about it.

After four years of faithful and timely online billing and payments on my Target account, I discovered while reviewing my credit report that Target had reported a delinquency on my account. I contacted customer support and was told that three notices had been emailed to me regarding a purchase I made on October 30. I explained that I had not received any of these notices, which is odd because I always received them before. Granted, I should have realized the bill was owed and checked on why I had not received it, but over the Christmas holidays I made countless purchases online and in-store and relied on billing statements to make payments.

In addition to the purchase I was charged two $35.00 late fee and interest charges totalling $66.04. I paid the charges since I was informed that after one month, Target does not permit "courtesy" charge removals. The support rep insisted the emails had been sent and not returned by my email server. However, she did offer to begin text notifications and paper billing (why not before?). So, after reviewing my InBox, Junk, Deleted folders and email settings, I contacted TW Roadrunner to have my account checked, and they verified that no email had been received from Target.

Apparently, I'm not the only victim of Target's shady billing practices. Needless to say, I've cancelled my Target credit card account and will no longer do business with this ripoff company!

I had purchased an Xbox one game at Target Along with an xbox console, a controller, and three other games. It was suggested to me by a store employee. He said that it was kind of like Minecraft So we purchased it. Christmas morning my seven year old son opened all of the xbox stuff and wanted to play. The game that was suggested to us by the Target employee was a junk game that had no point. It was nothing like Minecraft. this game cost $40. I have the reciept and the game. I took it back to Target. The Target employees said that since the game had been opened that i could not return it. I could only exchange it for the same exact game. I could not get a refund or get another game for the same price. I was so mad that i left and went to Gamestop and sold this game to them for $1.50. I bought my son a new game at game stop. Target does not stand behind their products or the products that they sell. They take your money and they are done with you. THANKS ALOT FOR NOTHING TARGET. I will no longer be shopping there. We spent at least $900 on gifts for my family. You cant exchange a $40 game. Wow that is bad business. Take care of your customers and they will take care of you. Don't bite the hand that feeds you.
