Techsaviours Reviews

Started with Techsaviours after being referred from Aol help desk to another company that sent me to techsaviours (after paying the other company). then was called and texted from textsaviours that they weren't going to be paid. So I paid them and filed a compalaint with my credit card company about original payment which I lost. Be leary of AOL support as they direct you to a company to help you and that company sublets it's support to another company (i.e. Techsaviours) which bills you and then shuts off support.

Terrible

I received random pop ups saying to call their number immediately and they attempted to charge me $300 to put anti virus software on my computer, I hung up immediately and after reading this reviews I"m glad I did. Don't trust this company

Tech Support contacted us via telephone to let us know that they would protect our computers from viruses, trojans, etc., for a period of (I think) 5 years for the cost of $699. They had me give my bank account number over the telephone and said they didn't used credit cards. We've since had lots of trouble with our computers. They claim they are a division of Microsoft. They have since called wanting another $400 to fix our computer problems. We declined as we think this is the same bogus company.

We want to know who we report this fraud to and get this outfit shut down to prevent it from ripping off more computer users.

The technician called me and said he represented Dell and that they were getting error messages sent to them from my computer.

Dumb Ass me let them get on my computer.

I decided the next day that I did the wrong thing but it was too late.

Today I tried to defrag my hard disk and got an error message that the the host computer could not be found. and the task scheduler was not running.

I tried to start the task scheduler and they had left it off and the exe file that starts the scheduler is looking for a host computer.

DONOT BE A DUMB ASS LIKE ME NEVER LET SOMEONE LOG ON TO YOUR COMPUTER.

My Safari was literally stonewalled for a couple days I couldn't do anything on my computer. An error report came up in the middle of the screen every time I tried to use the internet that said I needed to call tech support and listed a phone number to call and also gave a couple of error codes. After calmly claiming to help me get my internet working again after a couple of failed attempts they told me to make a test account, went into my systems and told me that my problem was because my firewall was turned off and that it is my responsibility to keep it on.

Gradually they claimed the problem was much worse than they suspected and told me that third party users were in my network using my IP address for online illegal activity. I literally broke down in tears and they told me the only way to fix the problem was by having them go in to my system and put a network security shield and antivirus in my system. They told me it would be $499.99 and after bursting into more tears they said they could do it for $399.99. I asked them if they were Apple's tech support, I am a new Mac user and had never dealt with a problem thus far on my new computer. They lied!

And claimed they were indeed the tech support for Apple. I was so distraught over my problem I gave them my debit card. Then they went into my email and literally had me print out a paper and sign it and scan it back to them. I thought that was a red flag but by this time I was stili in tears and desperate to have my computer working again as I had recently been in the hospital and had a car accident and had many issues online to take care of. Then for about an hour they were doing God knows what in my computer.

After they claimed to fix the problem they went back into my email and wrote themselves a glowing review and wrote my name at the bottom of it. I am extremely busy and this whole ordeal took several hours I was late for an appointment and had to go and all I cared about at that moment was using my internet.

I went to Apple with my computer later that night and they informed me that Apple NEVER prompts you to call them and that there is no charge if something goes wrong with my new MacBook Air. Realizing this was a scam I called back and they told me to call back during business hours, even though they had just answered!

I also called back specifically asking if they were an Apple certified service and they would NOT answer the question. This is a complete scam!

I own a small business that operates a few computers, bot mac and PC and because my Apple account was hacked, I was forced to deal with these people, whom I'm assuming have a contract of sorts with Apple. After a couple of times talking with these "tech people" who had to enter my computer remotely and at a cost of roughly 700 bucks, I was advised that the best way to deal with this apple id trouble was to simply start a new account. To me, this is not a fix, so when I told them this was unacceptable, some tech was able to fix the issue with my apple ID and I was off. Well a few days goes by and I start reecieving phone calls from all sorts of different numbers with a foreign voice stating, they are from Tech Saviours, that my computers are given off "error messages and they need to remotely dial in to fix the problem. Well knowing damn well that this is a scam, I simply tell them to stop calling not interested. these calls have come in daily sometimes three to four times a day and now they have women calling. Somehow this scam company got ahold of my contact information and call at all hours both to my cell and business lines. Because APPLE sent me to this company, APPLE is responsible and should be made to PAY UP for the blatant harrasement.

Don't blame Apple

Techsaviors only claims to be affiliated with Microsoft, Dell and Acer. It's not Apple's fault.
