Watch out for the former bartender (and general manager?) at The Hawthorne pub in Snohomish, WA. This guy Ted Walker is a scam artist and scammed a few locals for what I hear is TENS of thousands of dollars while doing business here.
The business closed suddenly and he told everyone it was because the building had sold, or that they lost their lease, but truth is, he bilked thousands of dollars from "investors" and has no intention of ever returning the money.
He will claim no wrongdoing, but just ask around town and you'll learn the truth about this guy. Word travels fast in this town.
He's still working, but as a Booker for bands at Rockos, or Flights Pub, in Everett. He is also in some band called Lost Dogma. DO NOT give this man money for anything. He is a smooth talker. Beware.
