I ordered service from Telscape for a wireless phone on my lifeline discount (a Government Program). After my first contact to sign up I was on hold for 4 hours trying to get someone because the lifeline form they sent me was wrong. When I finallly got approved on my lifeline I never got the phone. It took 3 days of calling at different times of the day and waiting on hold to get someone on the phone again. It had already been 3 weeks with no phone in the mail but they said to wait 3 more weeks. I cancelled my order with them and went with another company.
Now after about 6 weeks I found out thay they never notified California Lifeline that I cancelled so now I have 2 open phones on lifeline which can get me permanently disqualified from the program. I have been calling for several days to get this straightened out and can't get off of hold. I have called every phone number for every department and chosen every option as well as sending email to the supposed customer support and can't get anyone to answer.
California Lifeline will not let me cancel with them they say I must have the company do it. I don't know what to do but I suggest you do not get caught in this loop with them in the first place.
I made a big mistake by signing up with this crappy company. The people that work on the street for them are wolves in sheep clothing. Stay away from these Telscape people. I went back the same day to cancel service with these incompetent people and me and the woman got into it. She would not cancel the service. She did not know my last name. She filled out paperwork in my name that I did not do. She had her assistants to impersonate on their phone as me to get the service going. She told me that she could not give me a confirmation that she cancel the cell phone service for me. I asked her if I could have the paper that she filled out without my knowledge and when I reach to look for my name. The woman blocked me from getting the document that she illegally sign for me without my permission. saying she needed the document so she could get paid. Huh, that sound like a scam to me. Then her side kicks tried to explained to me that the company was legit. Yeah, right I asked her for her name and told her that her name probably is fake to. By the way don't even tried to call these people on the phone. It's a waste of time. They are full of it. STAY AWAY FROM TELSCAPE COMMUNICATIONS, INC. I hope I don't have to go to court behind this could be fixed by a cancel process bull crap. I agreed with everyone who has made a complaint about this company.

I called their tech support, went through the process of checking the device and it was determined that I had to send the phone back to receive a replacement. I sent the phone back the next day. After about a week and not hearing back from them, I called them to check the status. They said they sent out a replacement phone the day before. I allowed another week to pass after not receiving the replacement and called them again. Each time, I call, I get the same guy who is extremely rude and incompetent. He barely speaks English and obnoxiously keeps interupting you with worthless information. He keeps going over the same verification process even after I have answered all questions correctly. I explained to him that I had not receive the replacement, gave him the tracking number, he verified that they did receive it back and asks me, "when did you first get the cell phone?" as if that mattered since he already verified that they received the cell phone back already. I asked to speak to a manager because he continued to be beligerent and of course, he tells me "there's no manager available". I tried to continue with him and asked he what else could I do to help and he tells me "it's too late, you already asked to speak to a manager". He then tells me that a manager will call me back when one is available, but when I tell him that he doesn't have a number to call me back because the phone they sent me didn't work and was sent back, he became even more obnoxious. I finally had enough of this guys bull!@#$ and hung up. I've been waiting for this company to provide the service they promised for 6 weeks and still have no service and no phone. My advice to anyone wishing to do business with this company is DO NOT! This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced with ANY company in all my years of living. Futher more, this company provides Life Line services funded by the government for those of us in need. I can't say for certain whether California Life Line has paid them anything as there is no way for me to check or report them, but I'd say that they are being supplimented even though they have not provided any service.
I am making a complaint to this company telscape, everything they said have been a failure, they are wash brain. when I need their service do not help me at all. I'm really tire to call them. I have had hard time. I think is time to use my time in something better. I've been looking for help and I found you. I hope you that you help me.
I would like that you help me in spanish will be better for me, if not I can do it in English but I have accent, that's why this company take an advantage for spanish people don't know at all English. but I'm not stupid how they think.
