This is a report that i wish to file on one Mr. Jeff Gordon and his company Texas Coastal Energy Company based in Dallas. He claims to be a 21st century oil and gas company, but his methods are nothing more than that of a 19th century slick snake-oil salesman or huckster. I see his is no stranger to complaints and while I do not have firsthand knowledge of the sexual misadventures he has had which are mentioned. I can tell you that as a partner or rather client in his projects, he is about hype rather than result.

I was originally a client of one of the founders of the company who later departed and who has sued the company (you can read all the gorey details here:

I was left without any advisor except for the occasional call to continue to invest in new oil wells. After I made an investment, no calls, no updates, except for the stroke from Mr. Gordon from time to time tellin me in calls or emails that "all is well". Well it turns out that there's only been one good oil well, and then all others have had all sorts of problems. I get call after call for more money telling me that they need more money to fix the wells. They use I send the money and then nothing. I've even had to deal with returned or bounce checks from them when they try to give me my income distirbuted.

Now I here they are onto the next well in Texas and boy it is clear Mr. Gordon wants me and others like me in that program in a bad way. No way im touching any more of their wells, especially when I here that Mr. Gordon spends my money on the types of parties and sexual misadventures described in that court filing.

My financial advisor has gotten wind of thie results and has told me that unfortunately there may be others who have likewise been harmed. I feel bad for the clients, sales advisors (at least the ones I dealt with seemed to be understanding) or anyone else that has had to that misfortune of coming across Mr. Gordon. He's got rip off written all over him.
