We joined the Firecrackers STX organization with the promise that our daughter would be joining the well known fastpitch club based out of California. We paid the Director, Holly Stevens, hundreds of dollars to register and pay for uniforms and equipment that we never received. On top of that, Ms. Stevens claimed that she was paying Tony Rico 25.00 a month for franchise dues (per player) and we later found out that she never paid him 1 cent. After to speaking to other parents, it was pretty clear that Ms. Stevens conned us all out of our hard earned money and used our dues to pay for her facility located at DBat. She uses the Lord to justify her actions which we find simply dispicable. Many parents have since complained to our coaches and we were assured that Mr. Rico is aware but he hasn't done anything to stop this woman who now operates as Texas United Softball Academy. She has just had tryouts and is again scamming parents out of dues for what is really just a means to put money in her pocket. She claims to be a former college coach and player but no one can find anything about her. I would like someone to stop her before she hurts more families and continues these terrible actions. Anyone that steals from children and families is simply lower than dirt. Stay away from her and her fake programs and window dressing facilities!
