The Flipping Formula Reviews

Waste Off Time and Money / Scam

We attended Flipping Formula, March 4-6th in Boston, and was extremely disappointed with the outcome. When we attended the three hour introduction the week before, we were promised we would have the tools and support (Mentors and Investors) to start investing with no credit and no money down. WRONG!! By the end of the first day we saw right thru the Speaker, Coach Alan Swails, who owns the company, even though he claimed he was asked to be the speaker. Lie number one. During the day they asked everyone to increase at least 4 credit cards $50k per card and double what your wage earnings are to be approved. A script was handed for everyone to follow. Talk about putting more people into debt. Red flag and we did not fall into that. On day two, the class started out informative but by the end of the day, the additional costs were spelled out, in order to move on. There were three options: The Diamond Enrollment for $43,294, The Platinum Enrollment for $28,294 and the Gold Enrollment for$23,294. We were upset and realized it was a huge scam. Obviously, the reason for increasing your credit card limit was to enlist in one of the programs. We did go back on Sunday to complete the course since we paid $2000.00, however we also found out others only paid $1500.00. Obviously the cost was based on ones geographic area. On Sunday the attitude had changed. If you spoke to another attendee, they were coming over to listen. Coach Allen got nasty and tried to sell the seminar by insulting those who were not taking advantage of the offer. When a couple got up to leave he said, "Good Luck messing it up" and when he was done and we were leaving he said, "Good Luck Flipping..... Hamburgers" That did not surprise us since we had did some research on the program the evening before. Many that have attended said at the end of the program he would rush out of the conference rooms, sometimes becoming confrontational with those that approached him due to unsatisfied students. He may be successful in real estate, so he says, but something just doesn't add up. DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE!! I feel bad for the ones that were suckered in. If you do your research , many people that have paid for the additional programs have not sold homes, did not get what they paid for, and have lost a lot of $$$. Note: Peter from Flippn Boston on A & E came in to speak. He was talking about when he first started out with his first flip and realized he needed more money, which had did not have. He posted on craigslist that he was looking for a Real Estate Investor with Cash Flow. Find that a little odd if you are trying to promote, this expensive venture.

Defintely not what they said

I went to the 2 hr preview 2x before I decided to buy the weekend seminar. I bought it with the suggestion that I would have the tools and support to begin working the next week. So $1997.00 later I got to the 3 day seminar only to get a little good information which was good but to get the REAL tools and support it was going to cost another 3 days and $20-45,000(THOUSAND!!!) I'm sure that they can do what they say they can but I felt that I was mislead as to the value of the 3 day weekend. I would much preferred that they were honest and said up front that the initial 3 day for $2,000 was only the beginning of the suckage of cash. They say that you can buy and sell properties without your money or credit and the first couple hours were devoted to jacking up you credit limit on your credit cards to float your business. Unless you have the money to invest DON'T spend your time or money. I am going to ask for a refund but am doubtfull that I will get it. @ Grand wasted DON'T make the same mistake that I did. I will keep you posted on my attempt to get a refund

I went to 2 "previews" and came away with the understanding that after a weekend seminar for $1,997 i would have the tools and support to start working in real estate investing with no credit none of my own money.False!!! to get that information you had to attend yet another workshop at the cost of $20,000-$45,000. As far as no credit the 1st half of friday was focused on how to increase your credit lines on your credit cards. I am working to get my money returned. Several people didn't come back for the sunday session because they felt so ripped off and missled. The information was ok but not $2,000 worth.

I would not suggest going unless you have money to invest and do the additional investment to get the real tools/support to work the business
