I ordered a king bed on their website. After charging my credit card, they told me the item was sold out. Then they asked me to choose another king bed. I chose the other king bed. Then the customer service (only one person answers the phone 888-901-4595, she has a heavy accent when talking in English) called me and asked me to also buy the mattress from them. They will give me a better price if I can place the order within one hour since their truck driver is leaving to New York City (Where I live) in one hour. The customer service lady asked me to reply email stating "Authorize to charge my credit card." I asked to see the description of mattress on their website, but they told me it's not on the website and what I am getting is the best value with best price. I emailed them to send me the return policy for the mattress since I am not sure if the mattress is a good fit for me. They never reply. I called them back, then the customer service lady said I did not see your email, the truck drive left already. Then customer service lady told me you said you want to get the return policy, we sent it to you already........I do not think I need to say more. It is fraud and waste of time.

They state very clearly the the items you are ordering "qualify for free shipping". They even acknowledge this again as they charge zero tax and zero shipping based on your order being delivered to another state. Once your order arrives (if it ever arrives), they then try to charge your credit card a couple hundred dollars more for shipping and offer you an opportunity to pay the extortion or pay a return shipping fee plus a heavy restocking fee.
This is how they make their money "by fraud"!
I purchased a Coaster bed and they confirmed the total price on the invoice of $528.74 including shipping. I had also placed a note on the invoice referencing their free shipping statement for "this item". The bed never arrived and the first time I called after 3 weeks, I was told it was in transit to me via a shipping company. The second time I called after 4 weeks, I was told I could wait or cancel the order and pay them for restocking and return shipping. When asked what the tracking information was or who the shipping company was, they stated that they never get that information.
Every time this company gets caught lying, they simply make up another lie to try and cover the previous lie. I had the manufacturer "Coaster Furniture" call them, and on a recorded line, the owner of this crooked company stated that they never ship out of state, so the bed was not shipped to me.
Coaster Furniture did not believe his lies either and is currently looking into the fraudulent representation of Delaware furniture or the-furniture-authority.com.
They also have statements right on their site referencing free shipping, out of state shipping, and no tax shopping. They try to get around it legally by also stating that "sometimes freight brokers may demand a surcharge for shipping". At no time do freight brokers demand a surcharge when they deliver something. This company is telling the freight broker to collect this amount before they ever ship the item, but never in any case are they telling the customer until it is delivered.
This company "Delaware furniture or the-furniture-authority.com needs to be put out of business and the people behind bars. The more people that complain about their fraud, the more likely it will come to fruition.
