My friends and I came to an event at Southern Belly BBQ. My friend's car got towed from the lot next to the restaurant. While this was inconvenient, we did not hold the restaurant responsible. The owner then took it upon himself to offer us to come back for a complimentary meal to offset the bad experience. We were impressed with this gesture, until things turned. When we decided when we would come back we let the establishment know we were coming so that they knew. Jimmy, the owner then denied ever saying that to us. Someone actually did show up and he screamed at them and told them to leave or he would have them escorted out by the cops! After a lot of back and forth conversation, we finally posted our reviews of the business reflecting our experience with the owner. This is where it gets unbeleivable, he then began calling us names and insulting us.
It doesn't end there. This guy went as far as to call around to our places of work and trying to get us fired with bogus statements. He threatened us via phone and online. I found out that this is not the 1st time he has acted like this through research and talking to people. He harrasses the patrons if they disagree or have a bad experience in this establishment.
