I would like to file a formal complaint about Adam Vinson owner of Timber Taken Tree Care LLC of 50 Dresser Rd, Scarborough, ME 04074.
We paid Adam a 200.00 deposit on 4/20/14 to remove small trees, saplings and brush from our backyard and he said he would return on Wednesday 4/23 or Thursday 4/24 to do the work. He was a no call/ no show on both days.
We called Adam on Monday 4/28 and he said that he was a no call/ no show due to too much wind. This made no sense because we were not removing any large trees. He went on to guarantee us that he would do our job possibly Tuesday 4/29 but definitely on Wednesday 4/30. Again Adam no called/ no showed on 4/30 and did not answer his phone or returned any messages until we reached him on 5/1. He told us in that conversation on 5/1 that the reason he did not make it on Wednesday 4/30 is because he was having a hard time getting a crew together. He promised he would be here Friday may 2nd between 8-9am. He no called/ no showed on May the 2nd.
We have been calling and leaving voicemail messages ever since May 2nd without any response from Adam.
Our deposit was made in the form of check for 650.00 of which 450.00 was to grind 6 stumps at 75.00 each, which he had done that day, as well as 200.00 deposit to return for the additional work and removal of all the saplings and brush from our yard.
We respectfully request that your organization intervene in any way possible on our behalf to get our 200.00 deposit back.
