Deeply regret having hired TJ Telemarketing

I regret having ever hired TJ Telemarketing, as TJ Telemarketing and owner Mr. Paul Scheidler have failed to deliver on their promised services despite my polite and professional attempts for them to deliver the services purchased. Running a successful company myself for 34 years, I now am unfortunately having to take my valuable time to filing a dispute with my credit card company (Wells Fargo) to obtain a refund from TJ Telemarketing for $1050 payment made from my Wells Fargo account which the merchant has failed to deliver on.

As per my initial discussions with owner Paul Scheidler of TJTelemarketing and as per their website tjtelemarketing.com, I was informed I would be provided with 5-10 leads weekly, that is business contacts who agreed to talk to me about my professional insurance services. After 8 weeks from my initial payment of $1050 to TJ Telemarketing I have received a total of 4 contacts, which is far less than 1 lead weekly (not the 5-10 leads weekly promised). Understanding it may take 2-3 weeks for TJ Telemarketing to get my order started following receipt of my payment, that's still less than 1 lead weekly. Of the 4 contacts received, one was unreachable despite my ongoing professional and courteous efforts to contact them by phone, email and fax, two didn't want to discuss my insurance services, and one was the employee of an already existent covered business client.

My contacts to the owner Mr. Sheidler have yielded no results.

When I first spoke with TJ Telemarketing on the phone, Paul, the owners son, told me that the leads where for business owners in the area interested in life insurance and retirement planning. When I got my first lead order on 12/10/14 after reviewing the leads, I called Paul on the phone to complain about the order. The first lead said owner but in fact it was not a business owner, he had a separate job and his wife did cleaning on the side. The 2nd lead, was a business owner but was not interested at all. When I outright asked him if he requested information, he told me that he just wanted to get the lady off the phone and wasn’t interested which is what he said to the rep. He didn’t give her any information, the lead was blank . The third lead in that batch was leasing manager but I’ve never been able to contact that number to verify. The 4th lead was for an office assistant (not an owner or manager) and again they didn’t get any information. The 5th lead was for a Subway store, I would not consider that a small business. Right from the start, I was very concerned and expressed my dissatisfaction to Paul. He then told me that I misunderstood, that these leads where business owners and managers. I never realized that until this conversation, in fact he told me business owners would be more. As I continued to receive the leads, I was disgusted with the leads. On 1/15/15, I finally had enough and asked for a refund. They of course said no, so I decided to filed a complaint with the BBB and dispute the charge with AMEX. When I went to the BBB, I was shocked to read that someone had the exact complaint as me. For some reason, I don’t think this is a coincidence. AMEX has not issued a refund and I am not seeking help from the State Attorney's office and anyone else who can help me.
