Last summer i had purchased a brand new echo leaf blower, supposably it has a 5 year manufactures warranty, and tom deyoungs rep had told me they will tune up the leaf blower for free for the next 2 years if it has any issues.
well i had used it about 3 times, about a total of one hour last year and this year combined, it started to run rough, so i took it back to tom deyoungs for service, and the rep had then told me that it will be a 30.00 refundable service fee, but it is only refundable if it is a manufactures discount. also he had told me that anything that fuel touches is not under warranty by echo, his exact words!!! well so much for a promised warranty!! do not purchase from deyoungs and if you do make sure you research what will and wont be covered and get that in writing.
from now on i will not purchase from Tom Deyoungs, and i will not purchase Echo, i will be switching back to (((competitor's name redacted)))!! no need for a warranty when you go with
