Tom O’Donnell Joins Argent Capital Management LLC as Taft-Hartley Specialist
Argent Capital Management LLC is drawing from the ranks of labor leadership to serve its union pension clients. Tom O’Donnell has joined Argent at its Taft-Hartley specialist. O’Donnell will work closely withMichael Hoover, Argent director of institutional sales to cultivate relationships within the union market. Argent provides customized large and small cap stock portfolio management for endowments, foundations, pension funds and successful individuals.

Immediately prior to joining Argent, O’Donnell served as executive director of Quality Connection in Indianapolis, Ind., a labor-management cooperative representing members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 481 and the Central Indiana Chapter of National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA). He has also served the union construction industry in various leadership roles with IBEW Local 481 ranging from executive board and union president to business manager and financial secretary. He has also served as president of the Central Indiana Building and Construction Trades, vice president of the Indiana State Building and Construction Trades and vice president of the Indiana State AFL-CIO Executive Board for nearly 15 years.
O’Donnell rose through ranks of IBEW Local 48, completing his apprenticeship in 1973 and working for 18 years as journeyman and foreman. O’Donnell earned a degree in labor studies from the George Meany Center for Labor Studies in Silver Springs, Md.
